350z@7k Over Msrp?
I went to a couple dealers in the local area to see about tradin in the CLS and one wanted $5000 over MSRP and the other wanted 7k.
anyone else check on the pricing for these, I can't even think about paying over MSRP for a car like this ( the titewad in me).

Remember that the original Z was so popular and now considered a classic by many cos it was an "affordable sport car" which anyone could own. And the 90-96 300zx were discontinued cos they costed well over $40,000 hence forgetting its roots, so to speak.
Now IF these dealers are gonna charge such mark-up and nissan doesnt do anything about it then i dont know how the new Zs can live up to its legend and not end up being extinct once again. Eh i'm sure there will be enough ppl throwing their wallets for this car even if its over msrp but for how long? Eventually it may catch up.

theres no reason for that car to be over MSRP... theres an infinite supply of them.
wait a month for the overeager peeps to grab it then get it for a couple hundred under MSRP.
oh and btw, youve been able to get an S2k under MSRP for 2 yrs now.
they sit on lots these days.

They are smokin some serioius crack....Ass crack!
There is no way I'd ever pay more than invoice for any car..including an M3 or M5, let alone a 350Z.
I've always loved the Z, and if I hadn't bought my TL a year ago, I would probably be gettin a Z. However I'd wait a few months and pay $1k under invoice, not some bullshit markup just to be the first on the block.
