344HP TL!!!
344HP TL!!!
I went to my friends shop to do a Dyno on my car. I only did two runs. What I have on my car...
CompTech Headers
CompTech Exhaust
AEM Cold Air Intake
Apex-i V-AFC (Default settings)
NOS 70Shot (Dry Kit)
NGK (V Series Plugs)
Both Dyno's with my 19" C-5's!!!!!!
I gonna Dyno Tune my V-AFC next week at an import shop, my friends only work with v-8(muscle bullies, Crazy.....Calloway Vette's, C-5 Vette's, Z-28 and FireBirds with like 550 HP@ the wheels) There all cool though!!!
The first run(red) is in 3rd gear.
The second run(blue) is also in 3rd gear and the spike drop in HP is because when the NOS kicked in the car started hopping, even though the car was totally strapped down.
Remind you that both runs were with my 19" C-5's and not with my 16" Nitto Drag's
Does anyone know how to calculate Net HorsePower from HorsePower at the Wheels?????
I've heard anywhere from 20-25% with a automatic....Is this true??????? Well taking adding 20% to 287HP = 344HP!!!...Anyone know????

OMG !
That is one hell of an impressive pull !!
Congrats

I think the loss on our Auto's is actually 23% so your number of 287HP + 23% = 353 HP At The Crank
Good lord !! Look into a decent transmission fluid cooler and possibly a level 10 torque converter if your soing to squeeze regularly!
Again Congrats on that KILLER HP

Woahhh, 287HP at the wheels, that some 360-375 on the crank!!!....
NOS is like ACID plus Steriod to your engine.! I guess that sudden jump in power will fry the tranny. So, the tranny oil would have to be replaced each 15K.
I wonder how long the tranny will hold up before you have to run for level 10 to get an unpgraded replacement.
Anyways, dyno is impressive and good luck.

So if you can pull 230hp at the wheels with the headers, assuming 23% loss, you're actually at about 299hp at the crank. Add CAI and you're above the "magic" 300hp mark.
Whooopppssss....
Yuppers lol I guess it's time for bed when arithmetic is too much to handle LOL 372HP at the wheels !!

Actually thats 372hp at the crank assuming 23% loss. Purely mathematical and not via mechanical knowledge, since I have none.

Wow, this guy Tann@808 is posting all over the place. Nah, just kidding. I actually got to see Tanners car in person before, and I think he is doing an awsome job on his ride. Keep up the good work, and good luck with any future projects for your TL. Later.
