330 HP Subaru WRX backed by the dealer

Guys, there are 3 Imprezas in Europe (excluding wagons, etc/). The 1.6 liter TS (130HP), 2.0 liter WRX (218 HP) and the 2.0 WRX STi (265 HP). Actually the HP figures are in PS power. ANyway, so Subaru comes out and backs modifications that bring the output to:

1.6 liter TS= 180 PS @ 5050 rpm (0-62mph in 8.4 seconds)
WRX= 255 PS @ 5800 rpm, and
WRX STi= 330 PS (0-62mph in 5.0 seconds)= 52,700 Euros (almost $50K)

There is also a grounds effect package.

Here are the photos:

1.8 liter TS

Let me guess 330PS = 276hp?

The ones in the US come in three flavors: 165hp, 227hp, and soon 276hp.

Anyway, the STi doesn't look half bad. Not quite as wimpy as the ones they currently sell here. I hate how wimpy the US ones look compared to the STi and the real Rally car.

The EuroSpec headlight package is a definite plus.

That WRX is competing directly with the Evo VII Zero Fighter. Also straight from Ralliart with full factory warranty and it pushes about 340hp.

On another note about the Evo, I was reading about a week ago that it will be available with a auto sportshit type tranny. Interesting.

Its already out in Japan, its called the Evo VII GT-A. I still can't believe Mitsubishi produced that car...it goes against everything that the Evo is. Not only does it come without the trademark spoiler it has a 5 speed autotranny with a gear selection ability. It even has freaking Altezzas . It suspension is retuned for a more luxury ride and it has leather, heated seats etc.
