If th TL is the same as the CL type S it is 17.1 gals

about 400 would be as far as I would go without refueling (fuel pump isn't cheap)

Fly...

But to address your question, my CL-S gets about 28 mpg or about 380 miles per 14 gallons when on long road trips averaging 80 mph.

There are way too many factors though to really get it down to a precise estimate. Speeds, temperatures, gas prices, road qualities are all going to vary throughout your long trip...and they all have a pretty big effect on what you are going to end up spending...

Putting a few more pounds of pressure in my tires seems to help me get an extra 1 or 2 mpg when I go on long trips.

May have much better luck posting this in the TL section of the site.. specifically the 2nd Gen TL Discussion. I'd move it there for you... but we can't move into/out of the car specific forums... so you'll need to re-post.

Sorry
