I got three kids too, but the fact is that they will occassionally jump in with you to get icecream and stuff. better to enjoy the drive with the kids than be forced to drive the SUV or soemthing. So the four doors is a good choice. Stick to somethign 2-3 years old with low miles to keep the cost down, and I would suggest the 07 TL-S 6 speed, must be real fun to drive and comfortable. Also looks real good and can be modded easilly.

I was about to get an NSX or S2K, but after realizing that the kids are with me half the time, they would have to take turns going in the one extra seat.

Check out the Black market or autotrader, you can find a TL for relatively cheap these days. maybe even an 06 TL 6 speed.

Good luck!!

PS, if you don't know how to drive a stick, consider yourself lucky and learning is the BEST part of driving a stick. In a week you will be a pro and you will see driving a car in a totally different light. i wish I could forget how to drive stick and learn all over again, the process is so much fun, I swear, you will thank me later when you do this, If you don't already know how to drive a manual.

a "fun car" got to have a spacious backseat.
