they were set up for preorders. Not sure how many they were getting.

I would defitnily be interestwd if St we if I could afford it. They don’t know full pricing/options yet but they said the SUV would start at $62k AFTER The rebates. And that’s for the smaller range model etc.Too rich for my blood.

I had never heard of them before, and while I dont hate the exterior its not amazing...the interior is very nice. And a big 3 row SUV that at a minimum will get over 200 miles on a charge, or with a higher model 400 miles...I’m VERY interested in this company. Just pricey like anything else electric right now.

Agreed that interior is very nice and I also agree the exterior isn't crazy but it has some potential. I kinda hate the model X, it's super ugly to me but this looks boxy and masculine. I'm also very interested and yeah guess it's not going to be cheap. But I do see full EV's starting to come down. You have the Kona and Bolt and Niro, Leaf. Hopefully some better options soon.

@Sarlacc mind if I ask you how would you describe/compare their interior quality to today's luxury brands? Only asking because price wise Rivian is still set to start off less than a Model X and in the ball park of other luxury suvs.

i didn’t get to go inside and touch. But it’s looks good. I guess the owner is vegan so they are using “vegan leather” and other eco friendly materials.

And for reference. I don’t think Tesla interiors are very “high end” they aren’t bad but they don’t compare to bmw or others.

i don’t agree with that but I guess it depends which trim levels you’re talking about.

I'm talking about base trims. The actual M models have AMAZING interiors. My brothers friend owns a 2018 X5 M with the red leather interior and I couldn't contain myself. Carbon fiber everywhere, soft leather with stitching everywhere, aluminum everywhere.....literally was mesmerized by the fit and finish. The alcantara ugh....so nice!

I was talking about base models, they aren't cheap cheap but just don't feel crazy to me. Just a bunch of rubberized materials everywhere. I don't feel like Audis are much better in that regard either. MB's seem to be the nicest but again top models only.

Great pics David! Thank you for posting!

Just my opinion, but whoever started the 4-door couple thing should be shot!

Thanks for the pictures...

i am sorry, but i just wanna looking at that Rivian SUV's face.

Anyway, does the M340i's rear look as much of a Lexus IS350 in person as in the pictures?

Just posted a quick summation of my thoughts in the 3 series thread. But a little bit, yeah. But they also had the car backed to the back of the bow display so it was "out" in the open to really walk around.
