Yeah, she is. She actually enjoys driving spiritedly everyday and is pretty damn athletic. haha
Gonna check all the fluid before we go out to the track. It should be alright since it's her first time. Vwong told me some tips on prepping the car since he owns a B8 S4.
Fun times!

:p ics:

I may have to hold off on the May 10th event - car still needs a valve adjustment, new tires and I'd eventually like to get the clutch replaced.
I'll definitely let you know when I'm ready, you got me hooked on the track.

All good. Yeah, you most definitely need to get a good set of tires more than anything!

Gotcha...funny, as simple as a 20MM loss is very noticeable. I mean, fun for going sideways and for ripping it and losing traction...but 245's were much better for traction.
I'm running 225 all around right now, car feels stable, but for track, I can't beat 215/245 stock setup or more.

Just wanted to share something pretty cool.
This is the analysis of Driveway Labs diffuser. No I'm not getting this til later later.
But I did get my OE diffuser package yesterday. Gonna install it on this weekend.

I don't think I can see the pictures because they are attached within ft86club.
RE: the tires
The chief engineer, Tetsuya Tada, wanted tires that could lose grip easily. Forget what video it was, but he wanted the driver to know that it was a RWD car. He wanted the rear to get a little loose in spirited driving. The goal to make it fun to drive, and I think they got that part down.

LOL...in that case, I did something similar with the 225's on the back of the S. I get flamed for it a little, but it's as wide as the oem ap1 tire and if you think about most enthusiasts...they learned to drive on 13" wheels with 155mm wide tires!

I think that's when they were just in the testing stage.
The product actually looks very good in person. I've seen it at the track.

Some of the track junkies were mentioning that functional GT Wing + Rear Diffuser + Front Splitter combo transforms the car.
So very interesting.

you will see all kind of weird home made front splitters and rear diffusers on the track.
As long as it gets the job done, it does not have to look good.
some of the fastest cars i have seen (Civic hatchback) looks like they just came out of homedepot garage.

I'd be curious to see what the diminishing return on investment is in regards to the increase in downforce and reduction of drag at speeds less than 100mph since that's not normally a speed you'd be going on the track, other than maybe a straight away.
Seriously curious, not knocking it. The science behind it is interesting to me.
