The 2013 Blue Pearl WRX
Well... just recently picked up a 2013 premium wrx off the lot with 6 miles. Had not even been test driven by anyone but once I saw it I fell in love. So I traded in my 06 WDP in on it and drove it off the lot.
Crazy how quickly my acura sold as I traded it in last friday night and some lady is coming to pick it up today haha. The salesman called me and said that the lady could not stop talking about how in love she was with the car and how she saw it everywhere and always wanted it. Well needless to say maybe I will see her around. Hope she enjoys all the time and money I put into it, and the brand new tires, and headlights that were just put in
Anyway... the wrx is the premium so besides the base it comes with heated seats and a moonroof. Options included short throw and the spt exhaust.
Exhaust is night and day between the stock and the short throw is definitely... different. Completely a different car compared to my old one. This will eventually become my progress thread as I am sure this car won't stay stock for long
Enjoy the pics.. oh and here is one of my 6.0 I had before my acura

Nice pick up! Just wondering if you saw the new concept and just didn't like the looks of that or didn't feel like waiting to trade your car in.

Yeah I saw the new concept, and I just didnt feel like waiting to trade it in. Plus i am not a fan of how high the side skirts were it seems like getting in the back doors would have been a problem. Plus, hopefully by the time the concept actually comes out my car should be paid off.

Congrats on the purchase. I came close to purchasing a WRX but I simply needed a bit more from the interior. Hopefully with the new model, they'll spruce things up a tad.
Great color too!

Nice.
WRX comes with widebody now too? I thought it was only the STi.
You might wanna consider debadge some of the emblems in the back. It seems there are too many.

As for the widebody, yes the wrx's now have them stock as of the 11' model. Really helps with the overall flow of the car I think. Also want to debadge it but am not sure of what emblems to remove, or maybe I should just remove them all

Sweet car man. My buddy has a 2013 WRX in WR but his is a hatch. He has the Invidia N1 exhaust on it and it sounds so sick. Heres a video i took the quality is not great. Sorry.

Mother of goodness that sounds good.

That does sound amazing, I plan on getting turbo back just can't decide which route to go. It's either invidia, nameless, or Cobb. I plan on keeping stock stp tips because they look amazing to me, unless maybe they had bigger tips. Other then that Cobb AP and intake probably with a reasonable tune.

Nice car. Great color. Nice thing is there are TONS of mod options for it vs the TL. It can get pricey quick.
I wish i could come to like the flatulent sound the boxer engine makes, or i might have one for a work car but i just cant seem to come to like it.

I love everything about this except for the blacked out tails. I never really understood why people do this. Personally, I don't like driving behind cars with these kind of tails because it's hard to see if they're braking or not.
But I do love the sound of the car. Also thumbsup for keeping the car dirty. If a WRX or an STi is spotless, then something's wrong with the owner. Put the car in its element! It was meant to get dirty!

HAHAShe was rather attractive if I do say so myself, but I am happily taken. Just more reason to mod it though, just wondering if the Cobb AP is undetectable by Subaru if I go back stock. I have found sooo many different answers.
I think from 0-60 it is about .2 seconds faster but i think in the 1/4 mile it ends up being about .3 seconds slower. I think the 0-60 is because the 5 speed only needs 2 gears where as the sti has to go into 3rd to get it done.
BTW, debadging and cleaning it today...and looking for a third job in the meantime haha

Definitely to stage 2.
And you should be okay with flashing back to stock/uninstalling AP. Just make sure to drive around a bit afterward for the ECU to "clear". Some people also suggesting pulling a battery cable to reset the ECU and it will only have a P1000 code stored which says there was a loss of power (battery disconnect).
It's the other mods that you can't hide that will be trickier. Obviously something like exhaust or an intake.

Yea I was thinking about doing the cobb sf intake, and the nameless tbe with the cobb AP and having IAG performance do a pro tune to make sure everything is right... and if any problems were to arise where I needed to go to the dealer I would simply have them install everything back to stock and drive around for a while before taking it back. My dealer is aware that people mod these, not to sure how they feel about it though. I need to make an appointment to have my car xziloned and in the mean time I am looking into what percent tints I should get
