Too much front, rear & side skirt action for my. Just my personal opinion, I like the body kits on some cars but I think it is just a fad and is not going to last long at all.

Oh, here we go quoting consumer reports...we all know how accurate they are.
I didn't realize that correcting your grammar and posting accurate facts about a car (that you posted inaccurate info about) were considered hostile.
Hostile would be replying to someone who stated their opinion on a car (that looks like a turd, especially compared to the 1st gen) and making that reply personal.
So, who has the complex here?

So much G37 hate in this thread! Personally I love my car and I really don't care what you guys think about it. I think its the best blend of luxury, performance, and value on the market today. I won't make an ass of myself and start running down other people's cars but some of you guys need to chill. Just because its not a BMW or a trendy muscle car doesn't mean it sucks. I wish several other carmakers had the philosophy and execution of Nissan/Infiniti (cough, Acura, cough)....

No one here said the car sucks. We said don't like the way it looks, so what?
I've been vocal from day one how I think this current design is a step backwards from the 1st gen.
Big deal. Get over it.

Why do you let it get to you so easily, did you design it? Relax, you should know better by now to try to debate someone's taste in cars.
Only cause I don't know you, but did you buy the G? Or you work at a dealer?

This is why i hate talking to most car salesmen.
The kit doesnt bother me all that much besides the front lip and the price. But yea.. its a big part of it.
I do like the G37s though.

oh i thought me and sarlacc were the only ones posting in this thread
but as you've probably know, most of us in car talk generally love G35s/G37s. It's the OP who always fail to get this shit.

no doubt those look good ^^^ but those identical mods on the G35
and my opinion on those cars has nothing to do with performance for the record.. i just really love the G35 styling.. they had it right on the first gen for a change.
IMO of course.

2009 Dodge Challenger R/T
Base Price: $29,320 | As Tested: $37,410
A quick check of engine specs looks promising. The Dodge's 5.7-liter Hemi produces 376 hp and 410 lb.-ft of torque. And our car came paired to a six-speed manual and a deep 3.92:1 rear end. But the Dodge weighs just over two tons so 60 mph comes up in 6.4 seconds and the 1/4-mile is dispatched in 14.4 seconds at 97 mph. It slowed from 60 mph in 126.9 feet.
You can find many tests ON a G37S that are under 14 seconds 1/4

RT 0-60 is about 5.9 (a good driver with good tires can do a lot better)
1/4 mile is in the 13's. Again really good tires will help A LOT.
