2010 Camaro V6
anyone else liking it?....would anyone think about buying it even though theres the "0o0o u got teh V6 muscle car you pussy"
same V6 as the CTS....rated at 306 HP...and averages 29mpg HWY EPA
mated with the 6 speed and costing 23 grand....i think it could be really fun
only downside is that it does weigh 3700 pounds....

Maybe as a DD, but why wouldn't you get the V8 if you have a pair of nuts hanging there between your legs?

I think he goes to costco over walmart to avoid the gangsta.
I'm all for the V6 in general although It does sound lame when you say "check out my camaro, its got a V6" b/c w/ a muscle car, every one will ask whats under the hood, and then you'll have to deal with all the comments.
also this thing has 12.1 LBS/HP, its basically an American 350z [power wise] so its not super fast in todays HP war...but I think everyone should buy it with a V8, even tho V6 is cool for quick daily driver especially with that MPG...

Just like the mustang V6, its for women, my wife has an IS350, and ever since we saw an IS-F she's been crying for one. 60,000 dollar car, yeah right, wtf is she gonna do with 400hp.
If youre a chic and I offend you, "i be so sowwy". You know how girls are "that car is pretty", give it to her in a V6 automatic and she'll be happy, as for us swinging our clubs around, we'll only take the big motor and manual tranny.

Someday, an RS6 Avant+
If he had ever been to SJ, he would know that:
1: There are no trailer parks, just Motor Courts
2: If there were any of the above, they would be $250,000 starting price.
I admire GM for putting 300 HP in the car. It will give it some get up and go. It will also pass the V6 Mustang like it is standing still.
BUT
A V6 "Muscle Car" is :gheywave:

The V6 Camaro is nice, it beats the competition's 6's, but I wouldn't buy it.
WG - way to prove what everyone in the Carolinas outside of Anderson/Easley thinks (knows?) about Clemson.

sad part is just like the mustang the V6 will make up the majority of the sales.

Not everyone has to or cares about going 0-60 is 5 seconds. And it looks like the V6 Camaro may be a high 5, low 6 second car. Not too shabby.
Having said that I wouldn't buy the V6 either.

Anyone want to chop my child's head in that picture above and repost it?

i love hearing you people taking a shit on the new Camaro V6....so let me get this straight, most of you are acura owners, this V6 camaro will take a shit on any of your acura's all day long in terms of power and handling and MPG (unless of course you have an NSX) and you are talking shit?
I admit, if i were in the market for the new camaro, id go for the V8 as well, but to dog on a 306 hp RWD sports car that gets 29 mpg is just dumb. Chevy did a great job with this car, i hope it sells well. I owned a 1995 V6 camaro and that thing had 200 hp i think...but the gearing set up made it accelerate quite well, the Bose stereo was better than 99% of factory stereos at the time, the RWD handling was fun as hell, and the T-tops made for great summer cruising. I think this V6 camaro is a step in the right direction on all accounts but personally i wouldnt buy one without T-tops or a convertible top. personally im more of a corvette fan, i have a 92 coupe and theres not much like driving around with the top off.

From the C&D review.
Pretty sure that's all people here are getting at.
Attention, IROC-Z enthusiasts: the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro will not be available with your beloved T-top. If this is hugely disappointing, well, it may finally be time to put on a shirt with a collar, sell your Skynyrd CDs, and scissor the mullet.

i've been told by a GM fan that i'm a friend of the new 2010 V-6 Camaro is sticker+30k. .
for that price I go with either a G8 GXP
or Z06 Vette
or it's getting close to a Nissan GT-R (provided dealers cut their shit with mark ups)

IMHO: I think it's overpriced. you got the G8(yes it's a sedan) GT you can get into no problem low 30s.
Even Ford Mustang Bullit(the 2008 version) which was 315 hp v-8 you could get for about the same price as the v-6 camaro.

I've been told by an extremely smart person that you are a complete idiot.

I dont know thats alot of hp from a v6 3700 pounds or not, the mustang cant be that far off in regard to weight, now Ford will have to do somthing to get more then 305 hp out of their v8.

TQ > MPG
I sat in one at the auto show, and I wasnt a huge fan of the interior, but the exterior is very cool, IMO.
Props to GM for not going "retro" and putting a high hp engine in the V6. I personally wouldnt buy one, but just think guys, the girl with a V6 Camaro has all of sudden jumped to the mid/low 14 range, which is about the same as any TL and IMO it looks better.
