I'm still running stock sport suspension.

I haven't taken any pics recently that show the height very well, but here are some when we took delivery ...

I can't think of anything else that is upgrade for the TI package.

Here's a shot of the interior showing the black trim ...

The only thing missing on the TI package is black painted trim headlights like the '03 CL-S.

^ Awesome avant man..

Yeah, I mean other than a little wheel gap, the stock sport suspension handling feel is really great. I was so impressed when I took this car to big bear mountain. I drove the downhill pretty hard but the car had so much grip.. It didn't even make any sound. It was just so.. relaxed, even though I was pushing it.

I drove down the same hill with E46 M3 6MT in a silmilar manner before and I thought that was fantastic. But this A4 had totally different feelings in a positive way.. RWD vs AWD I guess.

Thanks dude. I'm quite impressed with the stock sport suspension as well. It's firm enough to handle well, but not that firm where you feel every pebble. I still haven't gotten around to installing my OEM RS4 rear-sway and bushings, but from what I hear, that greatly improves handling. As soon as I can afford a set of race ramps I've been wanting I'll be able to complete that upgrade along with a couple upgrades to the teggy.

I still haven't had the pleasure of driving an M3.

What's the spec on that RS4 RSB? Some B8ers are running S5 RSB and are very satisfied with the improvement. I think the stock bar was pretty thin IIRC.

You.. must.. somehow drive that E46 M3 6MT.. My friend have one and I used to drive it alot.. I had a chance to drive a lot of cars in my life but that car is just incredibly fun to drive..

The B7 RS4 Sway is 22mm, stock B7 sport sway is 18mm, B7 S4 is 20mm. I think the non-sport B7 sway is 16mm.

ECS doesn't list the OEM B8 rear sways so I don't know what sizes those are, but they are selling sways by H&R. H&R front sway is 30mm and rear is 24mm. H&R front sways are adjustable, rears are not. Be careful upgrading your sways though, if you go too stiff, you'll snap your end-links. Many guys running Hotchkis sways on the B7's are breaking their end-links because of how stiff they are.

Wow, that's 4mm more for your car, so that will be really noticeable! It's amazing how these little mods can dramatically change the handling characteristics..

Just remembered to order Progress RSB for my MS3..

and what's great about it is that it's an OEM piece that fits perfectly.

I need to do the same for the Integra. except it's a little more involved only because I need to upgrade the end-links and rear sub-frame brace.

If I can get those damn race ramps we can turn it into a upgrade your rear sway day at my house.

I bought my RS4 RSB + bushings from ecstuning.com. I bought the RS4 brackets from a local audi dealership. The brackets off the RS4 are slightly larger to accomadate the larger bushings. Many guys try and cram the smaller bracket around the larger bushing. it'll fit with a lot of elboy grease, but the brackets are only $8/ea. it's worth the money to just upgrade the bracket too.

Bring your MS3 pink slip, I'll hold it as collateral while you test drive the Integra.

Seriously though, if I had the extra money I'd get all the parts I need for the integra upgrade and we seriously could do a rear sway upgrade day. Lemme know you're time frame and maybe we can work something out. And I appreciate the offer of beer, but not a beer fan, so more beer for you.

You can follow your teggy in my MS3.

Let me know whenever you are ready with all the parts for your teggy. I can wait. I'm not in a rush to install my RSB anyway. But really, let's do it when you are ready! And we can take some pictures while at it!

Oh yeah, I work full time M thru F, so anytime in any weekend will be great for me!

Sounds good. I'll shoot you a PM when I have a moment to discuss this further. Surprisingly, the race ramps are the most expensive part of the upgrade.

Sadly the parts aren't that cheap, but still not expensive to surpass the cost of the ramps.

Sub-Frame brace = $229
OEM Type-R Rear Sway ~ $90
OEM Type-R Rear End Links ~ $21/ea
Bushings ~ ????

Race Ramps ~ $342!!!! (http://www.raceramps.com/67racerampsxt.html)

oops, I didn't know you meant those. I got Rhino Ramps with 8,000 lb capacity from Autozone for like $40 a while back. You can order them from Amazon with free shipping for $40 too. My car is long and it has an air diffuser underneath which bends slightly (its very flexible anyway) but it gets up the ramps just fine. Never tried it with my Integra so I'm not sure if they'll work.

I meant these race ramps.... a few friends of mine have them - but branded and more expensive - which they use to get their slammed cars high enough to get a jack underneath. It's less ghetto and it will hold up better in the long run.

I don't have any mods to be installed in my car, but this (Audi meet from AcuraZine @ Sly's house) does sound good. BTW, if you're only installing the rear RSB, you don't really need the Race Ramps. I've built a set of 4 ramps that are about 4" tall, and those were what I used when I installed the rear RSB in my B7 A4.

I was looking more at purchasing them because they'd be helpful to use for both my cars and my brother-in-laws car. And with less worry about them failing on me while I'm under my car.

Any other Audi's or VW's care to join in the fun while we're at it? Let's get Moog to come down. Maybe we can convince dom and charliemike to drive down with their VW's.

I've got something in the works on the side, so if we can plan for something a month or two from now, it'd be perfect. If of course everything goes according to plan but I should know within the next few weeks.

Just google maped your location to LA, you are only 20 driving hours away from LA. psssh that's nothing.

Your 1/4mile time is 14.69@95mph, you should get here in... like nothing.
