2008 Subaru Legacy 3.0R

Anyone in the market for one? I've been looking closer at them and I am really starting to like the look of them. Anyone know if they have any known issues? Or are they fairly solid AWD cars? I like the previous gen body style over the current gen.

On a side note, not sure if this is a real ad, but this 3.0R is severely under priced.

Not sure if it is a typo or the lady really doesn't know the cars worth?

Too bad I am not digging the gold color.

Request the vin# so you can run a carfax. The father in law may have wrecked it in a major accident and that may be why he isn't driving anymore.

If that checks out it looks like a great car.

Willdogs, I love the motor/suspension, but is has that "dime-a-dozen" appearance. Nothing stands out like the old ones. I know the gold doesnt help..

Check out this one.. a 2000. http://www.flickr.com/photos/chris_klaver/3714687370/

Def. get a stick. The auto is pretty horrible. My wife has a 2.5i limited with the auto and it always is stuck between gears.

The H6 is a terrific motor, but I have to agree with the above and say that the automatic transmission in Subarus is ABSOLUTELY terrible. I've driven my fair share of cars and its really hard to enjoy a car such as these, but thats my preference.

I'd say if youre seriously considering a 3.0R, go out and test drive one for yourself and see how you like it. If you have the money/credit, I'd say go out and get the brand new 3.6R
