2007 Skyline GT-R?

I went home yesterday and found the FEB issue of Sport Compact Car. On the cover was a G35 that said Skyline GT-R. I know that this is what the Japanese version looks like, but now they are saying we will definitely get it in late 2006 as a 2007 model. What I want to know is how many poeple here would buy it or not buy it. I dont think i would because it needs to look a little different than teh G35C, which is nice anyway. To me, they should have made changes in the look of it. I would take an older model over this one i think. Thoughts?

I would buy it just because it rocks the "GT-R" badge. On the real, if it really comes out I would definately buy it. It better have more horsepower though. I love how the G35 looks.

It will definitely be turbo charged. i think the number will be in the 300's they said. Dont get me wrong, it looks hot, but it still had a infiniti badge on the grill, which they are revising altogether anyways.

All sources that I've read (including the latest R&T and Motortrend) have the GTR at 450hp with a v6 twin turbo. BTW, it will be based on the NEXT G35 chassis so it will sport a different body than the prototypes that the mags have shown. Nobody know what it looks like yet.

Don't you think the NEXT G35 is already well into development? I bet the prototypes shown are quite accurate.

I wonder if Nissan is just waiting to see who does the best photoshop hack and go along that route to produce their next G35 The prototype chassis and engine were supposedly being tested on the current G35 coupe body. The handling was and is being developed by Lotus so hopefully we'll see something good.
