those deff need some 20+ rims. then i'd call it a beast.

 

not a huge fan of the rear tail lights or the interior. Looks too much like the new BMW interiors. It definitely reminds me of the Maybach though.

 

It's growing on me, but i still prefer the previous gen

 

Would be a toss up the new 7 series of the s-Class??

I was just gonna post. This car is taking numerous cues from the 7 series. Both inside and out.

The headlights remind me to much of the new accord...

not feeling the e class wheels on it. and where is the radio controls? i really hate the new trend that the instrument panels go almost over to the passenger seats-ughhhh

 

the wheels are not good.... interior is not good...

looks much nicer here:

 

The radio controls are probably on the center armrest, and viewed on a screen that turn on with the intrument panel

Looks very good, it is sportier looking than the W220.

 

People complain about the RL, but I can't see this as any leap above the Acura in exterior styling.

Those wheels suck too.

i think it took a lot of the styling cues/interior design from the Maybach

i like the exterior but the interior looks just like the 7 series interior that i always hated. IMO the guage cluster enclosure should always start and stop somewhere near the edges of the steering wheel.

 

I'd Still take a new 7series over it but I do like it...just dont love it

This car is a 7 series meeting a maybach. the interior is wayyyy too much like a 7. Personally, i think its too edgy and looks more japanese than german. Once i see it on the street im sure it will grow on me just like the 7 did. the CLS is much sexier imo

 

pretty nice. my dad manages a mercedes dealership. I might spring for it!

Mercedes played it way too safe with the exterior. Interior: I agree with everyone - too much BMW influence and has not caught up with the A8. But look at the amount of leather covering almost every surface in those hi-res pics!
