exaaaactly, what mclaren said, paying less than it would even depreciate, and i'm pretty sure there's no such thing as a lease where you there's not an option to buy at the end of the term

There is when it's a corporate/excutive lease plan through a company. Typically with those leases you HAVE to give the car back as that is how the company negotiates these killer lease rates.

This is an awesome deal. I am sure there is also an option where you can make the payments and not do the upfront amount thing. It might be more expensive. Even at 700 a month, this is a steal. I will take at least one, black/black please.

meh, i don't like the idea of paying for somthing and having nothing to show for it. e55's are secksie, but i could do alot with $600 a month. hookers and drugs would be better. at least you would have syphilis and possible hepatitus when it were all over to show for your investment.

Go for it that car is sick, the way it sits on those AMG rims with the big brakes behind it. It ounds like you have your priorities in order go for it. Anyone telling you otherwise are just haters because they can't obtain it.

-Good Luck

It's gotta be an executive program. Hell check out www.leasetrader.com I can't find one E55 lease for half that amount

Right, people telling him not to do it (who incidentially are all giving solid finanical opinions) are haters. As soon as someone has an opinion opposite of someone else, they're haters as well as unable to afford anything.

God I love the internet.

Oh, and for the record, since I never actually answered the original question. Since financials are in order... yes, I would jump on this in a heartbeat.

i dont think thats the GREATEST deal but its still a good deal...

i know someone who picked up an 05 E500 w/navi $4,500 down and 500$ a month with 14k mile limit/year.

soo having to pay the lease up front is a plus for the dealer not you, so thats why i say its a good deal- definately not something to jump up and down for

Remember he is paying nothing down.

So 600.00 for 27 months = $16,200.00 for an E55 AMG

The person you know got :

500.oo a month (lets say 27 months to keep it in same perspective) = $ 13,500 + 4,500 down = 18,000.00 total for E500.

The only thing you have to think about now is it worth paying 1,800.00 more for 2k more miles a year and for a lesser model?

I'd say that this is a pretty killer deal. I have no idea what SilverIce is talking about.

Pele would be getting a car with a base price tag that's almost $30k more then the E500 with zero down and over the 27 months, would cost him almost $2k less. I'd say it's pretty damn close to a great deal...
