Sorry if this is old (as in the pics), but I found this on another forum.

Yeah, I've been looking at that on the Acura site...the RL prototype link...the front end looks awesome and the interior is fantastic...
The backend needs to be reworked...those starburst taillights need to go and that stupid looking sharkfin antenna on the back needs to be replaced with one like the TL has now...
One thing I noticed on the Acura site is that it doesn't look like the nav screen is a touch screen...anyone confirm? Seems odd that the top of the line car would leave off such a nice feature as touch screen, when it's obviously available on the TL. I could be wrong and I probably am...most of my info is based on the RL prototype section of the Acura site. They may have reworked several of the interior features before production.
I really hope they do something with the center console though. It looks really cluttered, unlike the TL. Also, I would have preferred black lettering on the silver buttons, instead of the white lettering on a black background on the silver buttons. Would have looked cleaner...again, this may just be the prototype and not the production...I'll hold off judgement until I actually see them hit the streets.
Of course, I wouldn't kick one out of the garage if it showed up...I'd still love to have one. Beautiful car with just a few cosmetic details that need to be redone.

Interesting.
It looks like a cross between an E Class Mercedes, a BMW, and a Kia. I'm a little dissapointed. It looks much better from the earlier front 3/4 views. And if it costs over $50K, which is likely, I'll be very dissapointed that is has a six cylinder that will likley be a little peaky. Not fitting with the class of vehicle it will be competing against..

It looks far more like a 1st generation Acura CL mixed with TL/Accord than anything else to me.
So yeah, this is pre-Bangle

SWEEEEET! What a beautiful car. Looks like a stretched TL (I know, brand engineering) that's more conservative-looking. I could appreciate that.

Baby Igor,
Very keen eyes. Pics taken in Virginia outside D.C. The original post is on TOV, NOT this Subaru forum. More pics in original post.
Original TOV link.
What I can gather different from the prototype:
Chrome on side body moulding.
Chrome door handles.
Likely 17" or 18" wheels.
?Smaller exhaust tips?
"shark fin" XM antenna.
I agree that the starbust tail-light pattern and smashed-in trunk are not easy on the eyes.

Brokedoc,
TOV isn't the first one posting those pics. It's hard to say who's original post. But, based on the time they posted, neither TOV nor Subaru forum...
Subaru had this on today, TOV had it 11 PM last night. So far, I have seen another site posting exact the same photos at 9 PM last night...

Rets,
I based my assumption on the details provided in the TOV post. It seems as if the guy on TOV had a lot more details regarding the people taking the pics and where the RLs were.
In the end, all spy shots are welcome news for us info-hungry surfers.
What I don't understand is why Acura is letting their dealers take orders, put in allocation requests, and won't release MSRP or other final specs (MPG, 0-60, etc) on the car. What's the big deal?!?!

Wow someone actually noticed that other than me. I don't see why people keep complaining that Acura stole BMW's rear end design when the new RL resembles the first generation TL's rear end more. I just realised that a couple of weeks ago when a 1st gen TL passed me by. They just some how modernized it. That car was around far longer than the Bangled 7 series. Anyway, I love the new RL's design. It's quite conservative, yet has that sort of meaness look to it. I would hate to have to see it coming from my rear view mirror. It's pretty classy lookin' and sporty at the same time. Makes me wish I waited another year to buy a car.
