Dale, First welcome to the forum !!
It's not that difficult. I don't consider myself and expert, but I've changed more brake pads then I can count. When I get real stuck with somethign I as my little brother to help...
For future reference, the 2nd Gen CL forum is here:
https://acurazine.com/forums/acurazine-1/
You might not get many reponses here in the general (non-acura) car talk section, so feel free to repost your question in the 2nd Gen CL forum (where the CL experts hang out).

GreenMonster,
Thanks for telling me where to post my questions. Will there be another generation of the CL?

It's very very easy....remove the long bolt on the lower part of the caliper, the caliper should slid up (sorta like a lambo door), slide out the old pads, put the new pads in, make sure you have the shims and clips properly aligned, drop the caliper down, bolt it back up, and you're done!

Thanks for the info. It sounds like the design is the same as the Honda.

Check out this thread, Soopa (the admin/owner of this site) drops some hints about a new coupe:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ighlight=coupe
The NY auto show is this weekend I believe, so if there is going to be news about 2006 Acura models, it might be revealed at this show (or maybe not, acura is always tight lipped about new models/changes).
