3/45,000 warrantaaaaaaay(i know ya'll gonna say don't do it because audi is unreliable, but this one is at least worry free for 3 years. look at pics 2-9)

mazda 3... no doubt it'll be a more reliable car and will cost less to maintain. Test drove a 07 3 5 door, truly a fun car to drive. It was surprisingly fast too.

what's the deal with the S4 pictures? The first pic is different from the rest... to the spoiler, definitely take that off if you go for the S4

Audi S4! But yeah like SHYUperman said, what's up with the different pic? The first one looks the best with those rims and without the ugly spoiler.

if you look into an S4 look at one 01+ after 01 the turbo's came with bigger oil feed lines prolonging the longevity of the turbo life.

it says 'look at the pics 2-9', so it's the one with the wing.

i kinda like the wing though.. i always liked the wings on integra type r.. i always thought B5's look too plain. maybe i do have a rice in me..

anyway, i'm really tired of searching for a right beater. i've been looking for a car under 5 grand forever now. now, i decided to buy something around 12k-15k and drive it for next 3 years. i like that S4 because it has the warranty.

anyway, what do you guys think of certified GTI's? there are several of last gen GTI's in my local VW dealer for around 13-14k. what about 2002-03 A4 non quattro?

gosh, i can't never buy a damm car by myself! well, please help me out. i really like that mazda 3 as well. it's about 60 miles away from me. i'm gonna take a look at it on friday.

Mazda 3 is a great choice... cheapre price and inexpensive to maintain. Reason why it's been hitting the market today. It has impressive Mazda Exhaust Gasket that's also reliable. And I really love how it looks!

Reliability aside, Audi's of that era are the easiest cars to steal on the road. That alone would make me look else where, factoring in reliability makes it a no brainer unless you do your own maintenance.

yup, used euro cars scares me. i used to drive 1995 325i, and i had to spend about 5 grand to fix lots of things.

but that s4 has 3/45,000 warranty for $550!! and i'm only gonna drive it for about 3 years before i buy something like 335i.

well, i'm gonna keep on searching. here are some of cars that i like

1. mazda3
2. GTI(only if it comes with warranty)
3. used 01 prelude under 60k
4. s4(the one above. that's the only one around here)
5. integra type R under 60k(it would be hard to find it and those things are still very expensive. i doubt i can find one for 15k.)

gosh, i wish someone can just find one for me. i can't never make my mind up. when i was car shopping 4 years ago, it took me 3 months to buy my 01 CL!!

man, i love legacy GT!

anyway, whatever i'm buying, i'm gonna finance it to build my credit up. just found out my credit score is only 638.

but this one does have 3/45000 warranty. and gosh 250hp turbo sounds like it can be a beast after a chip and few tweaks... i can just beat da shit up for 3 years and just trade it in.. i've never had a beast, you know? fastest car i've ever owned was friggin 01 cl. lol

well, at least i'm gonna test drive it before i make up my mind. i talked to the guy and it is still there, clean as hell.

also, i would love to get a clean 01 prelude type SH if i can find one. man suddenly there are too many choices! damn!

S4 since you have the warranty w/o warranty I'd keep it moving but lose the wing

As for the Mazda 3 it is indeed almost perfect (well for me) except that the back legroom seems a bit cramped, but that's just minor flaw I suppose.
