Hope it does indeed work for rotors and pads. That'd save me over $30!

i'll let you know in an hour.

somehow my wife managed to get 50,000 miles out of the front brakes. it boggles my mind for how much she slams on the brakes.

I was going to have the rotors turned down, but this will basically make it about the same price for a new set.

Turn the rotors and put some Akebono or Hawk HPS pads on.... And save 20%.

OFFTOPIC:

My 05 TL just passed 80K miles, what are some of the things that I need to change? This is my first vehicle that I'm having past 80K miles, so I really don't know what to do in terms of maintenance.. I've never changed anything in my brake system, I believe.

Thanks.

Still running on the original transmission fluids? I'm flushing mine at 55k miles, along with rotors, pads and brake fluid. Inspect for leaking CV boots... etc. Check your owners manual.

That's great, if your store will still take it. My store said an email was sent out telling them not to take it unless it had a CSR number valid from that store.

I bought a Pad & rotor set yesterday evening and the 20% discount was applied to everything other than the Rotors. the Parts Manager said the Rotor had to be ordered and since they were paying the shipping on it they could not discount it.

I am going back tomorrow to pick up the rotors and buy some more stuff that I need.
