1995 del sol si

which engine came in it? I swear it was the B16 but my GF has one and there is a single overhead motor in it...am I trippin or did she get a car that had a down graded swap?

most likely came with a sohc vtec d16z6, however a few of them do come with the dohc vtec b16a3, i think those were only 96-97 del sol si's however

you can always do type R motor swap. It's almost a direct bolt. My one friend did it with his Del Sol that thing is a ROCKET

^^ depending on what yr it is, but knowing hondas these days and where you get it from, the only way to know what motor is in there is to look under the hood, and hopefully youd do that before you purchase it

The S and Si had a D-series motor. The VTEC had the B-series motor. The VTEC model was introduced in 1995. The only DOHC model on the del Sol was the VTEC model.
