Sorry to see it go. Sure you would have liked to keep it to some extent but that would have been one hell of a restoration project to take on and fund. Hopefully the new owner will send you some completed pictures when he is finished with it.

if the power steering hasn’t went right after I dropped coin on it I would have probably kept it. Both the owner and the transport guy crapped their pants at well it runs. But yeah, I don’t have the space to keep a 19 ft yacht and I don’t have money if anything else potentially decided to crap out.

Buyer just texted me. He had another tune up and topped off the transmission fluid. He has a washed it a few times and the shine is starting to come back to the paint. He has been driving it almost every other day and loves it. Still has to do the power steering which I guess is actually the steering box needing to be rebuilt.
Either way he’s really happy. And im glad to hear it’s being driven.

While it's sad, in a way, that you couldn't have kept it, for it's sentimental value, it's really a good thing, that it went to ONE, who will appreciate, and enjoy it, for what it is, A REALLY BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE, of AMERICAN design, and engineering GENIUS! Thank You, for the update.
