those skyline GT-R's were amazing....
check out the vid how they were exiting some of those turns.

I would have thought the full-blown race cars would be a lot quicker than the street cars, not the same or just a couple seconds.

That is a sick video... I agree that the race cars should (I would have though) been alot faster than the street cars...

Its that same skyline from best motoring Mine's skyline Go figure that car was the fastest street car

"A couple of seconds" is a huge difference on Tsukuba. When the cars in the same class are usually down to battling for that last tenth and hundredth of a second, two or three full seconds is a big deal.
