Any news/speculation on the next generation. Thinking about 'considering' this as a replacement for my TSX (i have 2 kids 1.5 yrs old and 3 yrs old = need more space eventually).

I work for Honda of America(Anna plant). It's gonna be built at the East Liberty plant. the same plant that builds the regular civic(not the Si), and Element.
I was over at East Liberty today talking with some guys.

now motors,

this is just rumors(so don't hold me to it) I heard 2 different ones.
#1. A v-6 to compete against Toyota(it will probably have the cylinder shut down like on current minivan)
#2. 08 Accord engine. most of you guys will laugh about this the 02 CR-V had an 03 Accord motor in it. they did it for 2 reasons.the first was to use the CR-V as a test mule to see how the Accord motor would hold up and second a lot of the first generation CR-V owners(like my sister) complained about lack of power. They had the 03 Accord engine in waiting "in the bay" which was stouter than the 98-02 Accord motor so they went ahead and dropped that in it.
