Is the 05 RL really worth 2x TSX?

48000 for RL sounds cheap comparing to MB or BMW and Audi. But this price tag is almost 2 times the cost of TSX (no-navi one) add 2k for navi ~ 27k.
Sh-AWD with 300HP sounds impressive but I already pick TSX over 270hp TL.
We got most of essential stuffs already loaded in TSX
1. HID not those adaptive one like BMW but do we really need the headlight to turn 20 degree with our wheel.. Xeon and none-xeon make a big difference, but I doubt about the adaptive one vs none.
2. Navi with voice reg. I can use Voice to find most of the restaurant around my area. Do I need Zagat ($10 on street) to tell me?

3. Sounds system. Bose is great addition with DVD-A/mp3.. I am doing ok with my indash 6-disc. I do prefer iPod adaptor like ipodbmw one.

4. I think the Panoramic moonroof will make a big difference on true lux car since the tiny hardly useful moonroof. And the rear parking camera or parking indicator is be a big plus.

I do love my TSX except for some rattling issue, but I only I will trade in my TSX and pay 2x TSX price for a RL.

You're paying for the vastly upgraded materials. Even the '04 RL's interior spanks any other Acura in terms of materials. Its leather is glovesoft like Lexus and has REAL wood. The '04 RL has a fit/finish that is just amazing.

The '05 from the reviews I've read takes the materials to a whole new level.

how much "crack pattern" and "butt print" commonly found in most TSX/MDX/TL leather?.
I Like my Silver trim Interior much better than Fake wood trim on my 02 MDX. Acura already gave people the impression on "FAKE" wood for so long. Will people believe it is Real wood or Looks like Read ones.

I think it's worth it. When my fiancee bought her G35C, I was in the showroom looking at the older M45 which was about $46k(?). I was thinking, this may be a nice car to have when I become a Dad (hopefully not anytime soon )

I don't know, what you're saying is similar to asking if the RL is worth forty-eight thousand dollar bills.

Oh its real and looks real. The leather and interior plastics and PVC are very obvious to even the most car ignorant that it is an upscale car. And this is just the '04 RL. The '05 takes things to a much higher price level in terms of quality and expectations.

I think it's worth 2 TSX's...anyways if I had $50,000 I would rather buy S4 than RL....and I think
S4 is worth 3 TSXz.

It's all subject to financial considerations and a subjective determination of the value of the car.

Paying 2x Price of TSX will it bring 2x joys more than what TSX can bring us?
I already enjoys a lot for the HID, Exterior, Voice Recog Navi on my TSX... I wonder the 21000 (TSX Navi @ 27000) more is justified for the "enhancement" on the current feature that TSX already provided.

Well the Rl ain't prestigous or anything but instead of seeing 10 TSXs in the parking lot, you may see 1 RL. There is the panache of owning a 45k car. SH-AWD.

But here lies an Acura issue. Whereas most car lines, people with the cheapest product acknowledge this and wouldn't think about asking this, with Acura the TSX and TL are so nice that people can't justify dumping serious dough for a RL.

IMO, yes, I think the RL is worth twice as much as a TSX.

Yes, unfortunately you can't get an IS for 1/2 the price of a GS.

Flagship would be LS or SC or LX. Those are twice the price.

It's not about Handling, way the S4 appears to other people. Pure Karisma that S4 has.
