All I have to say is that Ford hit the nail on the head with this car (design) I hope it performs and lasts as good as it looks.

It is going to be hard for me to keep the CL after this car hits the showroom floors.

I agree, Ford made it look irresistable, but lets wait and see how many of these are on the road in say, 2 years.

I understand later this year or early next year. A much hotter engine will be offered The car looks great, but the skinny rear spoiler has got to go. It destroys the the looks

Man they really did a good job. What i always hated is that they let the V6 people get the options (wheels, spoilers, hood scoops) that the GT has standard. They need to make them stand apart more.

What is funny is it has no competition.

I still can't believe how right they got the look of this car. Give Ford some props on this one. A cobra version of this car is going to be sooo tempting.

[edit] the sound of that GT is awesome. Sounds like the last gen with aftermarket pipes. Awesome!

Think the V6 models will end up as rental cars? I hope not.

Car does look great, with the interior being a bit bare bones. Still nice though.

Drivetrain - 8/10 - New platform and great engine. IRS and 305hp - very nice.

Exterior - 8/10 - Pretty good job compared with the concept car.

Interior - 2/10 - God that looks super cheap and plastic-y - not much better than previous generation. Looks like it's straight outta 1991. Other than the gauges that is - that's why it got 2 points. :P

The GT will not have IRS, that is reserved for the Cobra only.

I agree its badass looking, and if anyone in here has satin or driven in a 94-present Mustang you will be able to tell easily that the new interior is light years ahead of the current one in terms of quality. The seats could use a lot more bolstering though. :o

I'm tempted to trade mine in, but like already posted, the newness will wear off when you start to see a million girls in V6's on the road. It should be another great platform for making serious hp reliably and mods should be cheap & plentiful. :P

It has been rumored by a supposedly reliable source to be putting down 280rwhp, which would make it underrated along with alot of recent mustangs. Current 5 speed Mach 1's with similar power have run low/mid 13's pretty easily, so it'll be interesting to see what it will run.

My last daily driver (for 8 1/2 years) was a Ford, so I usually can't fault 'em. I like 'em.

Love the exterior of the car, but I think that'll pass when I see tons of fat secretaries driving around in 'em (the 6 cly version of course).

What really freaks me out is WTF would they put the emergency brake handle on the drivers side of the center console. I think that would be a royal PITA

Get rid of that little back window on the GT and get some better looking rims and for Christ sack get rid of that wheel gap on the GT.

Sounds awesome

Actually in the video the gap doesn't look all that bad
