I do not understand VW. VW owns Audi..
VW makes this car now.. so the customer would have to chose between this 12-Cylinder Phaeton VW and Audi A8?
I am now
BTW, I saw a new white 4.2 V-8 A6! It was very nice.

hmm built in germany... really nice looking....great car im sure...but it's err...a VW. I can tell you right now the resale on that thing is gonna be abissmal. I'm having flashbacks to the VW Corrado and Subaru SVX failures. Diff. company, but this is the same kind of 'brilliant' thinking that allowed the Aztec to actually reach production. Idiots.:shakehd:

Hey. For those of you who think our Cl/tl's have issues, u guys should head on over 2 ur local VW dealership's service dept. and check whats going on. A friend of mine works at the service dept. at VW and she processes the bills, work order etc. and constantly tells me electrical problems plaguing quite a few passats/jettas/golf/bettles. Some of these glitches have made the car inoperable just 1 week after being picked up from delivery. I'm not saying that evey one of the aforementioned cars are having problems so don't start flaming me now, but quite a few. Also, audis are notorious 4 electrical problems.
Recently, I read somewhere that mercedes conducted an internal study and found that some of their products were up 2 par quailty wise w/ Gm's opel division. Even in another study, jd powers i think, the # of problem areas in mercedes cars & trucks has gone up instead of down from 5-8 yrs ago.
Lastly, even BMW's have had some problems. The E46 m3 has had some issues and quite a few x5's have had issues 2.
I'm not trying 2 start a propoganda war or n e thing but if this is what german engineering excellence is, then I'll humbly reject and look at either a lexus/infiniti/acura. Good day folks.

I read somewhere, that Honda has been working on a 3.0 Liter V10 engine for the consumer market, that weights 20lbs less than than the 3.2. This thing is going to be a horsepower to liter beast! If it makes it to market, it will prolly show in the NSX first.
