If there was ever a picture showing how much the 3G TL can withstand those "extra 3 inches of outer clearance", I'd say it's this one on a slammed TL (I see the horribly rolled rear, but that gets resolved in a link posted below as you'll see and shouldn't affect the actuality that there's a ton of room):
Who would want to roll/pull the fenders and then resell it? I'm glad you asked, that would be one of Acurazine's more notable members Rodney...
Here's his build thread as he was destroying his TL's body to fit 19x10 +3 and 19x11 +6 wheels: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-97/stance-almost-there-732944/
And here's his car for sale now, with nothing but compliments on his hard work: https://acurazine.com/forums/member-cars-sale-49/leche-fully-customized-2006-acura-tl-w-navi-bronx-ny-796199/
Here's another 3G TL owner on AZ with a beautiful car (despite running a STAGGERED setup that belongs on a rwd car for crying out loud!): https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/praxis-764733/
And from what I've read, here's a stock body (meaning that no crazy bodywork was done, just the typical rolling/pulling/camber method) 3G TL running aggressive fitments: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/new-wheel-projects-updated-7-15-a-756086/
Never said it would be easy to fit an aggressive fitment, but this goes to show you that it's not impossible and can be pulled off quite nicely when done correctly. All of those fitments I've linked are wider than this one for sale, but their widths/offsets should be comparable to the set for sale here as far as outer clearances and the final look on the car.

Now I digress. You think that that fender looks good? It's like someone got in a fender bender and tried to fix it themselves. I can't see ANYONE being so desperate to want these rims to go to these means ti make them fit. The last link of white TL is gorgeous but nper ronjon they recommend +38 offset which he hjas so there should have been no rolling involved and def no pulling and that looks to be the case but the pic you posted up top is GROSS... Guys please don't go to these lengths when swapping wheels...

How about we solve this controversy by getting a picture of one of the wheels mounted on the TL? This will show how much work will need to be done for it to fit.

Yes they're aggressive, yes they're are staggared. If you don't think YOU can fit them, doesn't mean someone else cannot. If you're too lazy to do anything other than jack up the car and put on the wheels, no shit these wheels aren't for you. Some people actually want a certain look for their car. So they put in their time and MAKE them fit. And if you don't think that's worth your time or effort, GTFO out of my thread.
Just because you don't agree, doesn't mean you have to shit all over my thread after i asked nicely to keep out.
People have different visions when it comes to building their car. Some love to do hella flush, some just do functional. It's different strokes for different folks. If you cannot respect a certain following, then you shouldn't call yourself a car enthusiast.
Oh and anything is possible here's an example:
17x9+4 Front and 17x10.5+22 Rear on an s2k. Notorious for fitting HIGH offsets such as a 8.5 +63, yet he fit them.
Ron A, please close this thread

I wish I knew more about wheels so I could have done a better job editing here, but I'm sure when you post another thread it won't happen again. At least, it better not.
