I was waiting for a final decision from SQ but wasn't really (or was I?) expecting this.
It looks like there is no further chance for any monetary relief for EZ so I will close the account and close the thread.
Thanks to all those who provided positive comments and suggestions, and also that guy that supported SQ.

Got an update from EZ about his wheels and it includes a thank you to RonJon for his help, so I'm posting the PM here in its entirety.
