SOLD! NAVIGATION system 4 SALE!
i have a used Acura Navigation System for sale. it came out of my total loss (wrecked) 2002 Acura CL Type-S and is the same one for all 99-03 TL's(type-S or not). the system includes the touchscreen unit, navi disc operating unit,and all plugs from the rear of the 2 seperate units. i am asking $500.00 . please email me at this link if you have further questions, thanks. oh and also here are some pics. if these pics don't work, please tell me so i can accomodate you.

what else is needed to make a swap? The dash bezel and cimate control right?

For those of you who are interested in what is needed and how difficult it may be click here..
Parts you will need:
Nav screen
Nav trunk unit (brain) w/ bracket
GPS antenna
Dash garnish for nav
Nav hazard switch
Nav climate control unit
Screws and bolts for above
All 5 plastic plugs or female pins
(Heat-shrink tubing for pins)
Shielded wire, notes on that later, 18 awg
Unshielded wire, 18 awg
T-Splices (about 15)
Solder and solder gun/torch
Two rolls of electrical tape
3/4” wire loom, 20’ is a safe length
Wire labels and Scotch tape
Zip ties
Might as well buy some extra 7.5 and 10 amp
fuses
Parts you will need:
Nav screen

also , i'd like to explain how and why i chose 500 as a reasonable offer. i have owned 2 acuras with navi in the past. one was 02 TL typeS bought new with the $2000 navi option. the other was used 02 CL type s with navi ( this navi that i'm offering you) and now currently owning a used 04 TL with NO navi , i understand the great desire to have a car fully oem-equipped. i searched for a navi sytem for my 04 TL and found a few offers but said "hell no" . one reason was that the navi in the 04-06 has a great deal of extra OEM parts that are needed than required for my navi that is for sale, too much money and one offer was just the screen and disc player alone for a whopping $2000 firm w/ NO extra parts!!! the other offer was the same $2000 firm but atleast it looked more complete from what the pic showed which was a well presented tangled ball of wire harness and who knows what else. yet, i still bet maybe one or two items were not there to say that was complete either. but the point of this blah blah blah is that i figure a reasonable cost someone should pay for this used add on item should be no more than $2000 max with atleast EVERYTHING you would need. because that's what i would pay up to. so if i asked $500 for my system and figured in the additional $390.86 you would have to pay for the extra items, i could confidentally say to you that for $900.00 you can be fully equipped with a complete and correctly functioning OEM navi system. so that is why i felt that $500 would be a fair sale to you and i. well, thanks for your time it took to read this. i hope it explains any doubts, but if not please feel free to ask me, of course.

also, i took the time to print out the complete install manual that Jonesi has supplied us with and will send it out with the navi so whomever may have it to use becuase it is priceless and by the way, thank you Jonesi.
