SOLD! FS: TSX Ingalls Engine Torque Damper (ETD)
I installed this on my TSX for no longer than a week. It is pretty much brand new. I took it off because of the known fitment issues with the hoodliner. This can be solved by either cutting a hole into the hoodliner or by putting some padding between the ETD and the hoodliner (I did not want to do either). I experienced no problems with the AC Lines or ABS motor. I am selling this for $125 shipped. I purchased it for $135 shipped and that was with a group buy. Like I said, it is pretty much brand new so if you have wanted this mod you can now get it for less.

Install is very simple. Shouldn't take more than an hour. It did not require any modifications on my car. It cleared the AC lines and ABS motor.

bump, i see some of you are still buying this new for $155???? Ingalls has not redesigned anything yet so you are basically paying $35 more bucks for what I am selling.

Did you feel the difference? does it really help keep the wheels on the ground during acceleration? that seems to be a pretty big problem for me in my 04 MT.

^^yes, it is especially noticeable from the 1st to 2nd shift. shifting from gear to gear is also smoothened out a lot.

i'm really interested, but i dont know which i should get, a rsb or this etd. maybe both...? i'm guessing you have both, so which would you say made a bigger difference? probably rsb...eh?

rsb is a good mod, but I passed on it and went straight for the coilovers...I don't really feel like I need a rsb now. but most people say it makes a huge difference if you plan on just keeping the stock/aspec suspension. if you are planning on lowering with coilovers or a spring/shock combo, I would do that first and then see if you need a rsb.

you're not in any rush to sell these are you? I just want to look around for other ways to keep my wheels on the ground..but still pretty interested, good luck with sale for now.

^^nope, i got many low ball offers. i think $110 shipped is more than reasonable for this mod. this will get you what you want though, better off the line acceleration and reduced wheel hop.

actually..i have another question, haha, sorry . but, how long did you have it on your car? Do i have to cut the liner or add padding? like, im curious as to what you mean. i kinda dont want to cut my hood padding thing.

Its no big deal i have it on when i close my hood the top of the bracket digs in to the hood liner, what you can do is shave off the top of it.
Its a nice mod and adds a cool factor in the engine bay.
Extra vibration depending how stiff you make it but its worth it.

It definitely helps with wheel spin, their are times when the roads are we and say at a stop a hit the throttle a bit to hard i get bad wheel spin in both my sets of tires.
When i put it on the wheelspin was gone even in my winter tires.
