BTW, it is a complete assembly???

There is one solution, I had a 03 CL-S 6-speed stock intake box and that was a perfect fit. You should be able to install a Comptech Icebox or another CAI that is for a cl-s 6speed.
I put about 10,000 miles on it. This tb was from an 02-03 TL-S with roughly 50,000 when I bought it.

If anyone else has any questions, feel free to let me know. Thanks guys.

so you have a 99 TL(as I do) and installed the TL-S TB and a CL-S 6sp stock air box to it? wasn't it hard to mount that airbox in your 99? also did you have the modding your IM or the studs the TB slides into to make it fit? I am very curious as you can tell. Also did you feel a gain from installing the larger TB? I figured you would need to port match you IM to feel a gain.

All the bolts match up on the top side in the engine bay and all the bolts match up on the bottom if you wish to use the stock resonator. I didn't have to mod anything to the studs, just needed a new TB gasket, which I will also throw in(brand new and sealed). With the TB diameter being a couple mm bigger than the stock 99 TL, I feel a little more responsiveness. It's hard to prove any real gains since I have not had it dynoed.
