Like it says, got a new JL 8W3V2 Sub that some people have used to upgrade there stock sub. I was going to go down this route, but decided that i want more of a custom system. I never installed any of this stuff.

this is a dual vioce coil sub and if you need specific specs check out JL's website

The center channel speaker install was a BREEZE only took about 25 minutes much easier than the tweeters no gluing involoved only needed to shave some of the plastic off of the plasitc piece the center attaches too.

SOMEONE WILL GET A VERY GOOD DEAL ON THIS I AM LOSING about 40% after shipping

I just installed an 8W3V2-D6 wired in parallel in the stock hole (06 TL). Had to drill 3 holes to make it nice and secure. Wired it in direct to a JL e1200 amp, no need for a LOC...

Lots of Dynamat on the rear deck, inside the holes, and under the deck... and it's done. I'm still getting some rattles from the deck cover, but I found it... just need some foam to firm it up.

It's MUCH better. I had to cut the sensitivity back, it was actually overpowering. The 8W3V2 is not a free air woofer, but it's working out much better than I expected.

I paid about $75 for the amp/sub (lightly used items from ebay) and couldn't be happier with the $150 investment.

I removed the foam section inside the spare tire and will stash the amp in there. I have a spare toolbag to put the tools in. Totally stock look, with bump in the trunk!

Get this sub guys. cheap and easy way to beef up the bass.
