SOLD! FS/FT: 19" Volk GT-C & 19" Maya GR5

Everyone,

I have a set of authentic 19" Volk GT-C's available for SALE and possibly even a TRADE. Asking $2200 FIRM.
  • Wheel Model: Rays Engineering Volk GT-C with Carbon-fiber centercaps
  • Front wheels: 19x8.5"
  • Rear wheels: 19x9.5"
  • Color/ finish: Gunmetal with polish lip
  • Tires: Michelin 255/35/19 (fronts) and 265/30/19 (rears)
  • Offset: I'll double check on the exact offset and provide that once I get the chance to do so.
  • Accessories: Hubcentric rings, tuner lugs with key, carbon-fiber centercaps, chrome valve stems
  • Condition: (1) One minor/ minimal curb rash on one passenger side rear wheel. (2) Some minor knicks on a couple of the spokes near and around the tuner lugs and centerbore. (3) Absolutely no bends. (4) I would rate the wheels an 8 out of 10.
Originally, these wheels were used on my IS350. I've since swapped them for an alternative set of DPE wheels. If you have an IS250/350, these Volk GT-C's will fit perfect. I also own a 2005 Acura TL (with an A-Spec setup) and the wheels do fit the TL as well. The Volks have since been on the TL for the past 1K miles, but I plan on returning the TL back to the factory A-Spec wheels. I enjoy the ride quality and performance on 18" more than I do on 19's.

I'm not in a rush to sell, but these Volks are just taking up much needed space. Someone take them off of my hands and out of my storage unit.

Anyone interested in buying my Volk GT-C's with Michelin tires, please P.M. your info. I would like $2200 FIRM (believe me I paid far greater for this setup). I prefer local buyers, and they will hold priority over all interested parties. I'm in the Southern California area. I'll consider trades plus cash difference if you think that you may have something I'd be interested in. More pictures will be made available in due time. I'll try to get some pictures of the Volks on my the TL later today.

Let me know...$2200 Firm for a staggered set of 19" Volk GT-C.

Hey i am very interested. Would you be able to weight the rim and tire? Also how much would it be shipped to vancouver, BC, Canada? (2C6)?

Or maybe I could also pick it up as I am coming to Socal next week.

Let me know asap.
Thanks!

Some Updates

Thanks for being patient guys. Anyways, I've found a few more photos of my TL sitting on these particular set of Volks. The setup that I had was with the factory A-Spec suspension. The tires you currently see on the wheels, are not the one's currently mounted. Right now the wheels are mounted with Michelin tires (where as in the picture you can identify that my previous tires were a combination of Bridgestones and Dunlops). You'll get the Michelins which are a higher quality tire. I've had these tires mounted for about a month; there's plenty of thread life left.

Some additional specs on the wheels that I had failed to mention on the prior post:
  • Front wheel: Volk GT-C Face I
  • Rear Wheel: Volk GT-C Face II
  • Wheel Offsets: +39 and +37 respectively
For interested buyers, please p.m. if committed to buying. Asking $2200 FIRM.

Thanks for your interest. I'd rather not ship it. It's just too much of a hassle and I've been overly busy at work lately. I will only ship as a last resort and if no local buyers are interested or committed. So if your honestly interested, your welcome to swing by and take a look and complete a transaction if and when your in Southern Cali.

Again, I'm not in a rush to sell. So if you are really committed to buying it, I can hold it for you until your available to visit me in CA. I think its in your best interest to buy it in person, plus shipping may cost you fortune. IMO. Let me know.

Thanks for the interest. I was just up in the bay for the past couple of weeks up to 4th of July. Anyways I'm currently in Irvine, CA. If your willing to put up with a little commute, then that would work well for me. Depending on my schedule, I may be able to arrange a convenient time in which we can meet up somewhere in Central Valley CA. That should save you atleast a couple of hours driving. Either way let me know if you want the wheels.

Sorry for the delay in posting pictures. I've been overseas tending to a project and therefore away from the merchandise. Regardless, close-up pictures are provided below. Other than the minimal damages seen in the blow the pictures, the wheels are perfect. It will need a little cleaning though (as evident of the dust and water stains on the lips). Take a look and let me know of any interest you may have.

Asking price has been adjusted. Since reviewing the wheels for damages and/or imperfections, the rear tires look more worn out than I originally had posted. Hence, I'm dropping the price to compensate for the additional wear on the tires. Please note, however, that the tires still have alot of tread left.

New Price: $1900 local pickup / $2050 shipped
As before, local buyers or those who can pickup hold proirity.

Lip Sizes (Front wheels and rear wheels pictured respectively):

Spokes (The first two have minor scratches around the centerbore and lugnuts):

Damages (curbage to rear lips):

I'll sit on that for a little while. If no local buyers come out within the near future, then consider it yours. As I stated earlier, local buyers have priority. I'll let you know if I don't get any local offers. Otherwise you can always drive down here and pick-it-up for the lower price. I'll stay in touch.

It seems as if all the interested buyers are in or around the bay area. I've already received a few offers comparable to my asking price from people in SF area. None to which are willing to do a local pick-up at my place in So. Cal. I'm kinda committed to selling locally. Oh well. Your car looks insanely polished.

Still available, but the interest seems to be dwindling on this and IS/Lexus forums. So if you don't have the cash... How about a trade plus cash difference?

I'm not necessarily looking to trade for wheels, however. I already have one too many and don't have the space for another set. I do need some upgrade parts for either the 3rd gen TL or IS350. I've listed some potential trades that I would consider. If you have something else that you think that I may use feel free to contact me.

Potential trade interests:
  1. Tein SS coilovers for the 3rd Gen. TL plus you pay the difference
  2. Tein SS/CS or TRD coilovers for the IS350, again you pay the difference
  3. BBK for either the IS350 or TL
  4. Comptech S/C for the TL, I'll compensate you for the difference
  5. My TL is a non-navi unit. If you can convert it into a factory navi unit for me (parts and labor) then I'll do a flat trade... Or if you can install a car PC (parts and labor) much like a few members have done on acurazine.com then I'll also accept a fair trade.
  6. IS350 OEM Lexus polyurethane lip full kit; again you pay the cash difference

Let me know what you got, and we'll talk...

Someone buy this set of Volks. I washed them and cleaned them last weekend. $1800 firm/local pick up only. I'll entertain trades plus cash difference. Let me know.

Also if anyone is interested... I have a set of 19x8.5" Maya GR5 wheels (wrapped in Toyo Tires with < 4k miles). Let me know if you want these. I want $2200 firm for the Maya's (local pick-up only).

19x8.5 Maya GR5 Wheels - $2000 firm

I've received some request for pictures of the Maya GR5 (hyper silver) wheels that I too am selling. If anyone is interested in these Maya's, I'm asking $2000 for them. Again, local pick-up only. These wheels where originally ordered for my 3rd Gen TL and has about 4k miles on it. The tires are Nitto. The specs are 19x8.5 all around with a +42 offset. The work fine with the TL, even with a drop. I don't know if they'll fit a BBK though. Do your own due diligence before you commit to buying. The wheels are fine and are straight with no bends. One wheel has some minimal damage to the lip. It has some curb rashes as displayed in the pictures. The other wheels are perfect and like new. They actually look better - condition wise - than I had remembered or thought. Again, asking $2000 firm.

Pictures provided below are of all actual four wheels. The fifth picture shows the curb rash on the one wheel. The other three wheels has no noticeable damage.

Recap on my asking prices:
  • Staggered 19x8.5/9.5 - inches Volk GT-C: $1800 (local pick-up)
  • All around 19x8.5 - inches Maya GR5 Hyper Silver: $2000 (local pickup)

I will entertain trades, but I'm not that interested in acquiring an alternate set of wheels unless its a good one. As of right now the items that I would trade any of these wheels for would be limited to performance parts or upgrades to either the 3rd Gen. TL or the IS350. If you have anything that you think I may be interested in, PM me and we'll discuss.

I prefer to deal with all transactions locally, but I haven't been getting too many locals expressing interest. I guess I should extend this sale and make it available to out of state parties as well. So if your interested and need me to ship it, then PM me for shipping cost. Otherwise, everything is in Irvine-CA ready to be pick-up.

Throw some offers at me... I might just consider it.

Both the Volk's and Maya's are still available. I may be willing to ship, just contact me first so that I can get an approximate cost. Thanks.

A question was brought to me: Will any of these wheels fit or work on a TSX? I was hoping that someone here can answer this question for me. Since I personally don't have a TSX, I have no way of confirming whether the Volk's or the Maya's are compatible with the TSX model. I can only confirm its fitment with the 3rd Gen TL.

Can someone verify the two sets of wheels fitment on a TSX?

Well, I currently have the 18" A-Spec TL wheels on my TL. They're in the 2004 gunmetal finish wrapped in Hankook Ventus tires (at least I think so). When I posted on here, I never intended to sell the factory A-Spec wheels. How much are you looking to pay for A-Spec wheels. If your price is right, then I would reconsider and may just sell them to you.

I am looking to trade in the TL, and I had full intentions to turn the car in with the factory A-Spec wheels. Unless you throw me an attractive offer for the A-Spec wheels, I might have to decline to sell them. How much are you willing to pay for them?

I have an auto. I can't confirm fitment with the 6MT. What I can say is that it cleared my calipers by quite a bit. So I would suspect that it would fit without a problem. But again, I can't confirm it. Hope that helps alittle.

I've personally seen these wheels. I originally agreed to buy them, but decide to opt out of it because I didn't like the staggered look as much as I thought I would when we mounted it on my car. Bump for nice wheels and honest seller.

I have an auto as well. I don't know the technical differences between the wheel specs of the 5AT and 6MT. You are welcome to come out and try to test fit a wheel before committing to a purchase if you like. When we mounted it on Dar's car, there seem to be alot of clearance left for a BBK upgrade. So I'm pretty confident that the wheels will fit over the 6MT brakes. Again your welcome to test fit it. Let me know of any interest. Thanks.

FYI - The Maya's will fit over BBK. I specifically requested that there be sufficient BBK clearance when I had ordered the Mayas. So I'm pretty sure they'll fit over the 6MT brakes also.

New Photos

I've taken some more recent photos of the Volk GT-C wheels that I have for sale. I also, tried to clean and brush it off alittle to make it more presentable and appealing. Anyways, the photos have been uploaded onto my Yahoo Photo Album account. You can check out the photos through the link that I provided below.

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/artsy_...cbascd&.src=ph

Let me know if any of you are interested. Also, please help me out and spread the word to friends that you think may be in the market for such wheels. Thanks a bundle.

If I can spare the time, I'll take pictures of the Maya as well. Also to member: Flight24, I'll get you pics of my A-Spec rims by tomorrow... Sorry for the delay.

Thanks bro. Yeah I know I hate to get rid of them Volks, but I could use the space that they're taking up. Plus I could use the extra cash. Thinking about trading in the TL for another car and could use more dough for a down payment. Anyways if your still interested in these or if you like to check out the Maya's instead, hit me up. I'll try to post up some pics of the Maya's for all to see and judge for themselves. Like I said the maya's were specifically ordered for the TL and should fit perfect.
