SOLD! FS: BBS RS-GT & Toyo Proxes 4. 18 x 8. 3rd Gen TL fitment.
Hi folks,
Before I give the info on the wheels, let me say I am not willing to ship these wheels. Local buyers only please! The wheels are located in Bellerose, NY. I may be willing to meet you halfway to complete the deal depending on your location.
Now onto the wheels!
Up for sale is a set (4) of BBS RS-GT rims. They are mounted on Toyo Proxes 4 tires. These wheels came off a 2004 Acura TL (6MT).
These wheels will fit all 3rd generation TLs.
Here are the specs on the wheels.
- Model: BBS RS-GT
- Size: 18 x 8
- Offset: 40mm
- Finish: Diamond Black w/ machined lip.
- Weight: 20.7 lbs.
- Bolt Pattern: 5-114
- Construction Type: Two Piece Fully Forged
- Country of Origin: Japan
- Approximately 7,000 miles on them.
Specs on the tires…..
- Toyo Proxes 4
- 235/40/18
- Approximately 12,000 miles on them.
These wheels were originally bought from the Tire Rack (www.tirerack.com) for $2,316. The tires were bought from Edge Racing for approximately $502. Shipping costs are not included in those prices. With shipping costs included, the total amount spent on this wheel/tire combo is approximately $2877.
The wheels do have some “blemishes”. I will list them below.
One wheel has a bend. The same wheel also has some curb rash. Another wheel has a very tiny bend which is not noticeable unless viewed close up. Also one of the tires has a nail in it. I will have a local shop repair the tire (at my cost of course) before the sale. Other than that, the wheels are in great shape.
Asking price of this wheel/tire combo is $1500.
Just an FYI. The Tire Rack currently has this particular BBS RS-GT listed at $731 per rim. Total for four before shipping will be $2924.

These are one of my most favourite rims around -- I wanted them on my TL-S (2nd gen) but already have Volks. If I had a G35 sedan ... this would be off the hook! Good luck with the sale ... if I was closer to NYC, I would pick these up in a heartbeat.
