Keep in mind the navigation system will work with any aftermarket screen with the use of an adapter made by Alpine. This is one of the best aftermarket systems made...very user friendly.

Guys just so you know I have the Alpine Nav in my CL with a different screen. I would suggest buying both cause alpine makes all their products to go together via Ai-Net. No other Navigation can touch this, to my knowledge it has the fastest processer on the market.

I guess no one knows what a good deal this is on the best navigation system on the market. $800.00 is a steal for this.

The flip out screen is only a monitor. You can hook up multiple sources to it like a dvd player, ps2, navi,etc. The navigation system itself won't play dvd movies ony the dvd map that is included. You can hook the navi unit up to just about ANY screen with an adapter from Alpine.

I also forgot to mention that it comes with the mounting brackets allowing you to mount it as seen in the picture on the first page. You can also reverse the brackets I believe and mount it to a flat surface such as the bottom of your trunk. The unit must be mounted straight because of the internal gyroscope.

I'm pretty sure it's just new locations. I believe they release an updated map every year or so. It has served me very well.

 

Hmm...do you know if this will be compatible with a Kenwood Excelon DDX7015 screen?

I know it has a navigation input, but does Alpine and Kenwood differ? Or is it a universal input

 

I'm pretty sure you need one of these to make it work with non-Alpine monitors.
