Cool Remote Starter for OEM Switch Blade Key

Category: Audio/Video/Electronics
Price: $75
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): TL 3G, TL 2G, Other Honda/Acura, Type-S Model
Location (State/Prov/Terr): NY
Item Condition: Used

This is a remote started that integrates with the stock switchblade key from Acura. I had this installed in my 2007 TL-S for about 6 months. I got it because i wanted to start the car while i got ready.

The way it works is you press the lock button twice and the car starts up. That’s it. No extra remote.

The kit comes with everything you need except the bypass module. You need a bypass module for this to work.

It comes with all the wiring and a antenna to help out with the range. I got more than 150 feet.

Buyer pays paypal fees and shipping. Only 75.00 bucks to start your TL with the OEM keyfob.

Here are the pics!

This is the antenna, place it by the window!

that is sweet.. can you make it so something else starts the car? like panic button or something?

can you provide the manufacturer or something so i can read some reviews to help make up my mind on the purchase? thanks!

All of the other functions still work on the original keyfob. Trunk release, panic, and the unlock and lock on the key. The shop told me that it was from DEI who are the makers of the viper alarms and other names too.

About the reviews, I can tell you that it works 100%. Dont know about the install but you have to have it done by a DEI certified technician. Works with the TL switchblade key and maybe some other ones like the TSX but i am not sure. I have the TL.

Yes, if you read this one, it says it works with your OEM remote.

the range on my switchblade key isnt anything special.. you were saying some add-ons from the system were able to get your range to 150ft.. any problems starting your car while you were in a building or in your house?

Supra98- I upgraded the whole alarm system so i dont need this kit anymore due to the fact that the new alarm comes with a remote start built in.

Donaldso718-I think it will because there has to be a bypass installed so it can communicate with the stock alarm.

Saiwahhh-It comes with an attenna that can be mounted by a window so it helps to increase the range. I live in a house so i would turn on the car from the front room. When at my girls apartment, the car would be in front or across the street and it would turn on. I guess because there was line of sight. Mind you she lives on the 4th. floor.

wow. If I had a switchblade key I'd be all over it. Definitely convenient to have the OEM look and only 1 remote.

saiwahhh - I paid 250.00 for everything. The install, bypass module and the remote starter.

The DEI bypass module can be found at Amazon for about 16 bucks. You still have to get them both installed.
