Parting out the infamous black 2008 TYPE S
Well as a lot of you know I had some fun with this car. It pains me to sell this stuff but I had to pick up something a little more practical. 2010 Advanced MDX. Yeah yeah I know, boring, but I have my 1000RR to keep me IN trouble. Parts I have left are listed below. Pm me with questions.
All parts have about 12k or so on them and the car never saw snow. May have gotten rained on twice. Mostly just sat in the garage..
Anyhow...
Parting out my 2008 TL TYPE S. Many Parts will fit NON TYPE S as well.
Comptech full stainless Catback exhaust -850$
RV6P full stainless Cat deletes/JPIPE/test pipe (includes INNOVATE Wideband LC-1 & XD16 Gauge kit) -500$
Zex wet Nitrous system with remote opener/purge/modded TL fuel line and two bottles with single aluminum bottle holder-700$
Big bore throttle body and port matched intake plenum/penum riser and hood spacers- 500$
Type S struts with Eibach lowering Springs-350$
Carbon fiber steering wheel (Genuine Acura OEM)- 350$
Sarona Roof wing (painted Nighthawk black)- 340$
Type S 3.5L complete short block and heads (had extra and was gonna stroke it with 3.7L Internals)- 850$
Tenzo R 18" rims ZERO curb rash- Matte black with red Stripe with BFG Gforce Tires and TPMS Sensors-1200$
Type S instrument cluster for an AUTOMATIC 11k on the odo- 400$

Ride quality was fine. Not too agressive. The drop was about 1.75 inches. I bought the springs from Tire Rack for about 200 if memory serves me correct. The struts were out of the car. They are complete and ready to install. Thx

got any pictures of the steering wheel, gauge cluster, and pre cat deletes? I'm interested in all of that if you want to ship to 77845. Also do you know if the cluster and steering wheel would work in a 04' TL?

Cluster and wheel sold today. Also have a 4.83A white Nav disc that I took out as well. The most current disc out there. 165 shipped.

Forgot to mention intake set up comes with a gen 4 IMRC cover with the Acura logo on it. Since I couldnt find a way to get the cover on I dressed it up with this. Parts cost alone on the setup was over 900 bucks.

just got a update from Paul..
Anyone who has a TL 04-06 non type s... the short block will not fit because housing is completely different and will not bolt up to our tranny, also the heads are for a VCM engine which has a different VTEC setup that our ECU will not work with.

just got a update from Paul..
Anyone who has a TL 04-06 non type s... the short block will not fit because housing is completely different and will not bolt up to our tranny, also the heads are for a VCM engine which has a different VTEC setup that our ECU will not work with.

I have no clue... I just copied what me and paul talked about...
Also for anyone who is interested in the Big bore throttle body and port matched intake plenum/penum riser and hood spacers and have a 04-06 TL...
that part will fit but if your going to SC or Turbo, paul says it would be pointless...
