Hey guys,

I have a brand new (not refurbished) Rockford Fosgate Power T1000-1BDcp 1000watt. mono amplifier for sale. The box was opened to verify contents and has never been used/installed. I bought it to replace an amp I thought had blown in my car. I didn't want to have to breakdown/disassemble my car twice so I bought this amp ahead of time as a precaution. Come to find out I sourced the problem to bad wiring and I decided to keep my system as is. That left me with this brand new amp in my hands.

My old amp is also a RF Power series mono 1000watt amp (The 2004 model) that's still running real strong pushing my two 12" subs effortlessly. Goes to show that as a past customer I LOVE these amps, ask around; they're the best. That's why I'd choose nothing to replace it but the same.

This is the top of the line "Power" series. Not the "Punch" or "Prime" series. It is stable down to 1ohm! Don't confuse this with the older amps that looks similar. After 2010 they released the "cp" CONSTANT POWER configuration. The PEQ remote bass control was bought separately but I am including it in the sale. It allows you to fine tune the amount of bass on the fly right from the driver's seat. A MUST have!

The new Constant Power amplifiers are some of the most powerful amplifiers on the market. The T1000-1bdCP is based on the legendary T1000-1bd amplifier design with a proprietary "Constant Power" configuration delivering up to 25% more power (Watts) across all impedance loads. The listening experience is cleaner, louder and more impressive than ever before. The T1000-1bdCP, pumps out a heart-stopping Kilowatt, enough power for any reasonably sane subwoofer system.

Class bd
Rockford Fosgate bd topology is a revolutionary patented design, integrating a technology that is more efficient than typical class AB and has lower distortion than class D designs. POWER bd amplifiers are 75-80% efficient vs. 20-60% efficient class ab amplifiers. What does that mean? More power from your amplifier with less drain on your vehicles electrical and charging system.

Constant Power
Music and speakers have a dynamic relationship. As the frequency of music varies, so does the impedance of the speaker. This patent pending technology gives the amplifier the ability to instantaneously deliver its maximum output power to the speaker without regard to its varying impedance while still maintaining its high-efficiency and thermal performance.

Differential Inputs
Differential input circuitry measures the voltage of both the (+) and (-) input signal. The circuitry subtracts the voltage common to both conductors (noise) resulting in only the clean signal. This allows only clean signal to enter the amplifier.

DSM
DSM utilize 1% tight-tolerances improving efficiency of the circuit, decreases cross-talk from other discrete components and lowers operating temperature.

Dynamic Thermal Management
Heat is often inefficiently dissipated across a heatsink causing "hot spots". Rockford Fosgate engineers have developed an award winning cooling design called DTM. This patent pending design seamlessly manages the output of power supply temperatures, while evenly distributing the excess heat across the entire amplifier.

MEHSA3
MEHSA3 (Maximum Efficiency Heat Sink Application--gen. 3) reduces MOSFET temperatures, lowers distortion, increases durability and prolongs the output device life span.

Punch EQ2
In the early 70's, Jim Fosgate studied the acoustical properties of automobiles. Utilizing a real-time analyzer and pink noise, he would graph out the acoustical characteristics of each car he tested. Jim discovered three problems that were common to all cars: a midbass hump between 100-275Hz, a steep roll-off of high frequencies from 2kHz up to 20kHz, and reduced bass response below 50Hz.

The Punch EQ on-board equalization circuit helps correct for these acoustical deficiencies in the listening environment. When set to Low-Pass(LP) operation, it becomes a variable Bass Boost. When set to High-Pass (HP) operation, it acts as a variable Mid-Bass and Treble Boost. When set to All Pass (AP) operation, both Bass and Treble frequencies are boosted.

YES, STILL for sale. If you ask why, I don't know, lol. Best 1000watt. amp you can buy. Why do I say that? My old one is STILL thumping in the trunk of my TL and won't die after 10yrs. of use. Rockford is the BEST! And the Power series is their flagship. This is still the current model in their 2014 lineup.

I've gotten some ridiculous lowballs so obviously I'm not desperate to sell. You guys know it lists for $699. If nobody wants it here, I'll probably decide that it's more trouble to pull my amp out of the TL and put it in a new car. I'll just put this new amp in my next car haha.
