Well AZ, the time has finally come. The TL was put mostly back to stock, and its now sold and gone. Here is everything that I have leftover that needs to go to new owners. I can ship but would prefer local pickup where possible. Wheels I’m going to leave as pickup only for now. J-pipe will need to be local pickup.

TPMS Installed

I’ve always run them with a 15mm spacer up front and a 5mm out back. Turns out the 5mm spacer is necessary for the center caps to fit, so I’m just going to throw those in with the sale.
Notes: These were refinished/powdercoated by Wheels America when I got them as they were flat black and I wanted this hyper black color. From daily driving, I think two wheels may have minor bends. Still driveable and all, but I did notice slight tire pressure loss when it started getting colder outside last year. I tried to have them fixed, but turns out that Wheels America closed in my area, so now I’m just selling them as is for cheaper. As a result, would prefer a local sale so buyer can fully inspect.

Very nice condition overall, but one wheel does have a section of rash from a poor decision on my part to try out an automatic wash. Pictures show top view, then side views from opposite sides of each wheel.

TL Type S Waffles $600

Bought these early this year expecting to use them as winter wheels this coming winter, so I wasn’t worried about perfect condition. That said, these show decent, but all do have rash and whatnot. From what I can tell, no bends. Tires are Conti DSW, but near end of life. They have about 5-6/32nds, and two have camber wear. Sale is basically for the wheels, plus the TPMS in them.
Center Caps are included, didn’t remember to take a picture of them.

Suspension:
TL Type S Rear Sway Bar – $30
Never took off the Progress RSB when I sold it, so my stock bar is up for sale. Good upgrade for a base model. Was removed with only about 30k miles on it.

Tein Street Advance Coilovers - $275

These have about 65K miles on them, and they never gave me any problems at all. Full disclosure – I haven’t moved the height or damping on them in years, and I’m not sure how easy they will be to adjust again (height mainly, I’m sure the damping is fine). The miles and that are the reason for the low price.

This was probably about my favorite upgrade on the car, just felt like it transformed the driving experience by having a high-quality wheel to hold. Very nice piece, after a few years its still in fantastic condition with nearly no visable wear.

kurt this makes me sad on so many level. 1) because you're no longer a TL owner, and 2) there was so much potential in mods here haha (you had WAY more than you ever told me, i thought it was just audio stuff).

that being said, i really wish we were local i would upgrade my trunk sub and enclosure with yours in a heartbeat. i'm guessing shipping to California is out of the question for those two? any pics of the installed sub in the trunk, i want to compare to how it looks to mine (all photobucket photos are blocked in AZ now, stupid photobucket)

 

Haha, yeah had a bunch of stuff that I accumulated over the years, no doubt about it. I regret not getting around to swapping the headlights with another member, as well as not removing the A-Spec badge, but I guess some new owner will be happy to have those.

As for the sub/sub box, they are already pending as part of a package deal, will probably have it all done by tomorrow. I'll certainly let you know if anything changes though. Found this old pic of it. Damn, photobucket is terrible now. Why would anyone use it instead of Flickr at this point?
