Hey everyone. Maybe some of you have seen the posts going around on V6p.net lately, but I am currently working with a shop that wants to get us some aftermarket cams. The shop I am working with is a member on v6p and knows about the issues us J30 guys have with torque and aftermarket. He is also well aware of the CLs cam swap that some are doing. He has contacted a major cam manufactuer and proposed they begin looking at manufactuering camshafts for us. They agreed! This is just in the beginning stages now, but soon it will be production as long as we show an interest. I cant specualte on the gains, price, or time frame since this project is so new, but I can say that the quicker our response, the quicker these will be in our cars! Here is the link:

I found a shop that is working on flow numbers and a possible alternative to the CLS cam (better one, of course). They have a J30 cam and are awaiting a J32 cam which they should get shortly to measure. Based on those numbers and some info from our engines, they can tell us an appoximate increase they can make. There are a few threads on this at v6p, sorry for taking awhile to respond, but I dont frequent here as much as I should.
