HID bulbs for sale -- 9006 base, 8000K

I'm selling a pair of 8000K HID bulbs with 9006 base. These will fit the foglights in the '02'-'03 TL without modifying anything. I don't know what other cars they will fit, but as long as they have a 9006 base, they will fit.

I got them with my HID foglight conversion kit, and I'd prefer to switch out these bulbs with 4300K bulbs to match my headlights.

The total time on these bulbs have been less than an hour or so; I drove around after installation to make sure there were no surges or dimming, etc. Since then, my car was in the shop getting some work done, so they have not been used at all.

I've searched online, and it looks like 8000K bulbs with 9006 base go for like 180 dollars per pair brand new plus shipping (works out to about 190-200 shipped, depending on S&H charges).

Since these are used (but very slightly), I'm asking for 120 shipped? Very willing to negotiate. Just post here or PM me and let me know if you're interested. These are in perfect working condition, basically brand new.

Man, I don't know what a D2 connector is. Haha.

The brand was TechOne. Got it from a member on the forum who sells it. Good stuff.

They are 9006 bulbs w/ HID color 8000k.

They're not HID bulbs.

It looks like they ARE HID bulbs! They are D2S bulbs that have been rebased to 9006. Since these came with a kit, the ends on these are most likely proprietary. You would need the same ballast that comes in a TechOne kit to use these.

They ARE real HID bulbs. They just have a 9006 base.

These are as real HID bulbs as our stock headlights. None of those "the LOOK of HID" crap.

P.S.
I don't think it's possible for conventional halogen bulbs to reach 8000K.

phins2rt --

I don't know for sure, but the base of the bulb, where the plugs go in, it looked pretty universal to me and not just TechOne-specific. But I'll take pictures of the bulbs this weekend when I get my car back and post them.

I mean, 9006 base is 9006 base, right?

Adrenaline,
The 9006 refers to the bulb fitment to the headlight. The ballast fitment is a whole different thing. Most OEMs use D2 sockets for the ballast. There are others (D1, etc) as well as proprietary connections (used on most kits). If you don't have wires coming out of the back of the bulb, it probably is a D2 socket. But a picture will definitely clear it up.

The bulbs did not have any wires sticking out of them.

But please wait 'til this weekend when I get my car back, so I can take some pictures and post them up.

Thanks.
