Might be a good idea to ask permission before doing this...

 

I don't see why he needs permission selling this...it's his gift certificate and he's selling for less than what it's worth.

 

I think it is probably in regards if its a genuine certificate.

Also it could also be in the "TOS" of the certificate that it is not transferable.

Gift Certificate is genuine and there is no exclusion for transferability. Vouches can be checked in my iTrader and posts in this thread.

I just don't like surprises that much. We track this stuff. If someone uses it online and we don't have the cert saved under that person's name it will cause hair-pulling and stress over here.

Once it is sold I need to have the new person's name and email.

I believe it is better to ask forgiveness than permission in most cases...maybe permission is not the right word. Maybe asking us the right PROTOCOL is better.
