FS: Turbocharged 2003 CL Type-S 6-Speed w/ Nav, LOW MILES

Well guys this is really hard for me to do but it’s time to let her go. I keep telling myself I’ll get some use out of it but the fact is I’ve had the car for 4.5 years and only driven it barely over 10k miles. So here it is, probably the lowest mileage 6-speed in existence. Car has Navigation, On-Star, Lo-Jack, Comptech springs, Comptech B-Pipe and of course the Turbo system. I designed and installed it myself, it has been professionally tuned, and only has ~4k miles on the components. Despite the fact the car makes approx. 450hp, I have never driven it hard, and never commuted to work in it. It has been garaged AND covered its whole life. Also included is the Acura car cover, full-nose mask, sun shade, and all stock components replaced during the turbo install.

A little about myself: I am a 31 year-old Sr. Design Engineer for Garrett Engine Boosting Systems, thus the addition of the turbo kit. I take my work seriously and developed the kit to satisfy my urge to turbocharge something, NOT to make a drag racer. I am not some kid who races around and thrashes on the car; it has seriously been babied its whole life, and is in perfect condition inside and out.

Car in stock form $24k o.b.o.
Turbo kit $6k o.b.o
Car as is (turbocharged) $28k o.b.o.

Please e-mail for more info/pics . Thanks for looking.

Damn, that's a nice car. I hope it goes to someone who'll take care of it as much as you have. GL with the sale.

(wishing I had $6K to spend on the kit)

I'd like to get rid of it as-is, but if that takes too long I may have to return it to stock and part everything out. For the auto you would have to re-make most of the piping to maneuver around the tranny. Everything else will work.

Yeah that was a fun little meet. My old home town! The more I read through this the more depressed I get about selling it . It really is nearly a brand new car... maybe I should ask $32k like I paid for it new, lol.

Oh... more info on the car:
Includes the original 7yr/100k mi. factory warranty

Up to 10,990 miles! Act fast because I have a friend who wants to buy it stock and a lot of inquiries about the turbo kit. Anyone buying the car as-is would have preference. One of a kind car, LOTS of passing power and makes cool turbo sounds Can you tell I drove it today?

GT3582R, capable of ~600hp. In fact there is a member here with the same setup making 464whp!! He is running 10psi though, not 7psi like me.

I saw this car in person at one of the So. Cal TSX meets that was held about a year or so ago (my avatar is from the after-meet cruise).

The car was in excellent condition, it looked like it just came off of the showroom floor.
I remember talking to the owner (BlueCLS6) and he mentioned the same story above (working for garrett), he seemed to be a very mature person who knew what he was doing.

Good luck with the sell.

wow, i would hate to see you part the car out. I'm pretty sure you could sell it privately...just have to find that right buyer. It's such a one of a kind car...literally.

Can't beleive I've missed this thread.. hate to see you go but understand. What a deal on this car. Someone should buy it outright or at the very least the kit. If someone in florida was to buy it, i'd help with the install. Like to see 2 turbo'd clss running around town. Good luck with the sale.

Depends on who buys the kit. If the buyer already has comptech headers then I can sell mine, as the collectors are used for the manifold. My Comptech 'J' pipe is practically brand new because it is not part of the turbo system.

Nice car man . Did you have any problems when you installed the turbo on the cls? and do you think it will be suitable for everyday driving if I put a turbo on, like alot of maintenance required? Also What all parts will you include in the turbo kit? Thanks
