FS: Sony 50x3 amp, Pioneer 8" sub and TSX designed box
So just bought a TSX and have extra stereo equipment from my last car. My plan was to install my 6 year old (?) Sony 4 channel amp with one side (50x2) powering a new pair of 6x9s and the other side (150x1) powering a mono 8" Pioneer Premier sub. I installed a new pair of Alpines on the rear deck on the one side of the amp and they sounded good, but still needed a sub. Then last week I built a small sealed box for the sub and hooked it up today. Looks like one of the channels is not working in the amp, great. Space is a big issue, I don't feel like buying a second amp and my wife would like me to quit playing with the car. SO, I'm returning the 6x9s and selling the rest... maybe I'll just buy a self powered sub and be done with it. Here's what I've got:
Sony XM 504x 4 channel amp (it WAS suppose to run as 50x4 or bridged 150x2 BUT it isn't -- now its either a 50x3 or 50x1 + 150x1). The other 3 channels have been tested and work great. It has a variable low or high pass, adjustable 40hz boost and accepts speaker leads. $50 plus shipping OBO
Pioneer Premiere 8" subwoofer. It sounds awesome. I have it in a 0.43cuft sealed box. It plays low and tight. Its rated 100w RMS / 400w peak. It ran great on one side of the Sony amp for 4 years. I had to trim a bit of the foam gasket to get the speaker grill I had (and lost) on, but once a grill is on you can't see it. $35 plus shipping -- for $50 I'll throw in the box:
TSX designed 0.43 cu.ft. box. 13h x 12w x 4.5-9.5 d. Its made with 3/4 MDF, sealed and designed to fit snugly against the rear seat next to the above amp (mounted on the seat). I put a 2" lip on the top and one on the bottom to hold it in place. If you drop the seat down you can then take it out. I have a wood shop and all the cuts are accurate and most on the table saw. It needs finished with paint or fabric still. $25 plus shipping/packing (and its heavy).
I'll take some photos later today. Thanks.

Still up for grabs. Here's the set up: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/c_mill...kgBrDBcMg_QH1g
I have a write up on the A/V forum. The sub enclosure measures only 12" wide and you only loose ~5" of trunk depth (measured from the top) since its a wedge. Total volume is about 0.43cu'. Note the speaker wire out the back was just to test it. I have a speaker wire binding post terminal that wasn't installed.
