FS: Purebreed Female Teacup Yorkie
Purebred female Teacup Yorkie is 10 months old with all her shots and paperwork. She's housetrained, obedient and absolutely adorable. Extremely energetic and playful, she especially loves children. Weighs 4.2 lbs. She is also Microchipped. She has not been spayed and is ready to breed (If you're a breeder ofcourse). Groomed every other month. Recently had a baby and need to find a family with time to dedicate to her. Aside from that where I am currently living, the tenants aren't too fond of pets. It breaks my heart to let her go, but have no other choice. Call 646-287-1137 or email me angelang@rcn.com if interested. Asking price is $1,800 neg. I paid over 2k for her, and that's not including food, vet visits (I'm afraid to actually sit down and add up how much business I've given them ) thanks for looking !

I'm sorry but there is no such thing as teacup yorkie. And, if there was a "TEACUP" yorkie then they should under 4lbs.

The following might clear up the "Teacup" category:

At least it's a bump.

If I had cash to throw around, I'd pick her up in a heartbeat! And this is coming from a guy that is adamant about getting a husky.
Sorry, best of luck.

There is no sub-category of Yorkshire Terrier called "Teacup" - same goes with chi's, poodles, Dalmations, and whatever else they are breeding now. It was a term coined by backyard breeders to appeal to people wanting a smaller dog. I know a member of New Jersey's Yorkie rescue, but I am assuming using a rescue is out of the question based on the high sale price you have asked. If you want the email of the woman, feel free to PM me.

If you Google "teacup Yorkie" you will get lots of hits. I don't know if there is such a thing or not, but let's quit nitpicking and concentrate on the sale.
It's not a big deal, and anyone who is interested in spending this kind of money will surely do their homework and check things out and will be knowledgeable before they purchase.

Free bump for an adorable dog. My neighbors have always owned Yorkies-GREAT dogs, definitely the best choice if you are looking for a tiny dog.
