FS: Comptech Headers with Exhaust Cut-Out

The are the newer headers which fit both the 5AT and 6MT CL-S.

In addition to the headers is the QTP electric cut out installed in the A-Pipe (Header downpipe) before the Cat. Converter. This allows you to go from a closed exhaust to wide open with the flip of a switch. There is also another O2 sensor bung installed for those wanting to add a wide band O2 monitor.

Here are a couple of videos of the cut-out:

Electric Cut-Out
Electric Cut-Out Drive

The headers have about 20k on them and the cut out has about 2k on it.

This has to be sold as a set as the cut out is installed (welded) to the B-Pipe.

Price: $750

Yes and no, it is in the A-Pipe which could conceivably be stated as the down pipe.

no, anyone can use... if you are N/A and you open the dump off the line, you will more than likely lose some low end torque... being that I am supercharged it helped me launch the car since the low end torque is just sick.

Yes and no, it could be on an NA car. Although there won't be as much of a top end power gain on a non-boosted car. There may be a little to be had fo use at the strip. Also, you can make some serious noise if desired.

If your first offer doesn't fall through I've got a 99 TL-P with Alphawerks headers(brand new), so if you were willing to do a trade plus $400 I'd take this off your hands unless you have a 6MT (which it sounded like). If not I can mayber try to sell my headers and buy this off of you.
