I'm not sure how easy it will be. I normally just take my car to shops to put my stuff in professionally, but it should fit right in, I guess since out cars dashes are made the same, just connect the wires, but don't quote me on that. To answer your 2nd ? Yes. I got the car at the end of Dec.'01 & took out like beginning of April, so make that 3.5mths technically.

I recently put a 2003 6 disc changer in my 2000 TL. It fit perfectly, but you have to take a bunch of shit apart to do it. You have to take the whole mid console out up to the radio and the dash under the steering wheel. If your good with this kind of stuff its pretty easy, just takes a little time. But it is well worth it when you can play cd-r's perfectly with a 6 disc changer also.
