I have a set of used H&R sport springs that I purchased off Ebay about three months ago, but because of a family emergency I won't be spending any money modding the TL. The front springs are black and are stamped 51858F and the rear springs are gray and stamped 51858.55R The springs were never installed on my car and I don't know how many miles they had on them when I bought them. I'm asking $175 shipped but am open to any reasonable offers because I need to get rid of them. Thank you.

Do these springs still have the box. because a 51858 and 51858.55 are two different set numbers They have two different drops. I am guessing you bought these used.

I am interested But I am calling H&R To check which set this is.

They came in an H&R box with the part #50103. If I remember correctly the original H&R sport springs for the 2g TL came with part #51858 but they had a problem with the rear springs sagging so they replaced the rear springs with part #51858.55 and that combination became what is now part #50103. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but this is my understanding as far as the part #'s are concerned.

That's correct...I have part #50103 in the front and the rear. This is for the 02-03 tl and tl-s. It looks and drives great for me.

They should fit the Acura TL 02-03 and the Acura CL 01-03. So to answer your question, yes they should fit.

wait the 50103 says 50103 on all the springs and all the springs are black. im confused here. what are the ones you have? pics? even if its from the auction and if its ok i have money

From what I've learned on the forum, the #50103 set and the #51858/51858.55 set are the same set of springs. The original #51858 sets sagged in the rear so they replaced the rear springs with #51858.55 to solve the problem. H&R then designated this hybrid set as part #50103. Hope this helps the confusion.

oh i thought the 51858.55 was the rears from the H&R OE since the height was higher, but the spring rates didnt match the OE Sport. I think the 50103 is a correct height and right spring rate. ill have to look into it.
