FS: 05 TL rearview mirror with V1 etched
I am selling a rearview mirror from my 05 TL with a V1 display etched in it. Etching was done by F1 Motoring in NJ. Asking $500 for the mirror. Prefer local pickup, but would ship at your cost

the mirror only houses the display, you will need the actual unit as well. The control button is on the unit itself
I suppose a cop could see it if he was looking, I have never had this problem

"Pre" etched mirrors used to be available from a variety of online outlets. I don't think F1 did the actual etching (I live in Freehold and am familiar with the shop)... they probably outsourced the etching or ordered one, and then marked it up for sale to you. Either way, this is a decent price...
These were big on the Bimmer forums a long while back... at that time, they only cost ~$200. Nowadays, you don't find these mirrors for less than $600 --- I wonder if Valentine sued the original designer or something, and that's why it's so hard to find them premade.

Actually I never knew they came pre-made. I am sure that this one was not pre-made though because I supplied the mirror and display that they used

not sure about fitting an 03....don't know what kind of mirror is in there, if the mirror is the same, it should fit i would guess
desper......there is a cord that comes out the top of the mirror that you can run to the V1 unit, i had it run along the headliner and you did not even see it, my V1 was mounted in the corner of the window on the passenger side
