bulbs

Those look HOTTT!!! They look fairly easy to make (I'm pretty savvy at building electronic projects) do you have a schematic and parts list to build my own? How do they hold up in the rain? Maybe some heat shrink tubing around the circuit board to protect it from the elements.

This is all you need:
http://www.acurainspired.com/gallery...=780&pid=22171
http://www.acurainspired.com/gallery...=780&pid=22172

A direct replacement of regular 9006 bulb and it is plug and play.

As long as your foglight bulb is 9006. They are street legal and of course they are not DOT approve.

they're leds, they won't burn that quick, they probably last alot longer than actual bulbs.

In hand and Installed

Hey all,

I just received and installed the 8000K cool white LEDs. They look great (nice to have something so few people have), super easy install and the price is right. I haven't seen them at night yet but can wait. Thanks again for all your work on this!

Cost and Night Impressions...

Hello,

I'd check with "mthuch" for the exact cost. I don't if mine we're a one off or anything.

Also, had them on at night last night. It's just like was stated earlier... they don't illuminate the road well, but you can see them from 900 miles away.

The only thing that worries me, and this may have been cooincidence, is that coming home MD270 EVERYONE got out of my way with at least 1/4 mile to spare. I dunno if it was a random occurance, the lights freaked em out or what, but it made the trip a lot quicker

I have to do the fog light only mod so I don't blow my HIDs now

Thanks,

Joe

Joe,
What do you think of my 9006 LED bulb?
Do you like them? Now you will never have to replace the foglight bulb again as long as the rock does not hit it.

Guys, they are $50 a pair shippped.

Those fogs are super sick man! I only wish that I had fogs on my 99 :~(

Are you going to make turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights?? I know it's not possible for some lights but I just got my TL 3 weeks ago and haven't taken a look at the bulbs! But all that aside, some turns and brakes like those would be off the hinges!
